Lee loved teaching, ever since he had started his job as a high school teacher last year, he loved waking up in the morning and driving to the school because he loved the subject he taught. Back when he was in high school Literature had been his favorite class, he loved books and he loved learning all about Shakespeare and his plays. By the time he was a Junior he was hooked, and even quoting some of Shakespeare's most famous tragedies and comedies and now he had the chance to teach other students all about them too and he loved that. Sure he had students that thought he was boring and a little old fashioned but he didn't care, it was the students that he got through too that he actually seemed to care at all about. All his other students could hate him if just one liked his teaching, because that was all that seemed to matter to him.
As he waved goodbye to his last student and erased his board he sighed glancing at the clack that was on the right side of his classroom above a board of student's work he had decided to hang up. An hour to do basically nothing now, and he already finished all the work he had to do so he had nothing to keep him busy while he waited for his next class. Pondering his options on what to do he wondered for a moment just what Tristan could possibly be up to know that he had his free period just around this time, and decided now would be the perfect time to go bug him. Walking out of his classroom and heading down the hallway he didn't even bother knocking on the door before entering hoping he was in here, "Tristan you in here?' he asked.

tristan had been extremely nervous for his first day teaching. he had just finished college a few months ago, and he landed a job in a high school district. as excited as he was to begin his job, he was freaking out because high schoolers could be terribly tough. tristan knew he was an amazing musician, he had learned so many instruments through his time in college, and his voice was unbelievable. a lot of people had told him that he should go into performing and go to be on broadway. but fame was something that he never wanted. it was nice to perform, but he preferred smaller crowds and things not as big as broadway. teaching kids about music was all he needed to be happy. there was no fame, no flashing lights, just the love for music, which was exactly what he wanted.
the first class had gone pretty smoothly. it was mostly introductions and getting to know the students that he was working with. he had found some girls checking him out and it was weird, since they were a bit younger than him, and because lately he had found himself attracted to men. once his students had left he walked over to his desk and wrote some notes down on a piece of paper. so far he was all good, there were no problems yet and he did not have to deal with any problem students. the next part was planning the school play, as he was asked to do that. he said he would do it because he would be able to help the students with vocals, as vocals were his strongest point. he jumped a little when he heard a voice. "yeah, i'm in here. you scared me a bit," he laughed, before looking up at the person who had spoken to him.

When Lee was young he really didn't think he was going to be a teacher, he was one of those kids that had many dreams in his life and they were always shot down by people who thought they were silly and so he decided against them all. His idea to become a teacher really came about when he had a teacher that really seemed to have an effect on him and so he went into teaching and later got a job at the high school. Sure he seemed to get those students that would almost bully him because he was gay, yes he had those students that were homophobic and everywhere he went there were those people who would look down on him but he really didn't care because at the end of the day he really did like teaching and he liked the subject that he taught and that really was all that mattered to him when it came down to it.
The students that would hate him and his class never really mattered, he wouldn't let them dare matter to him because they weren't important and he wasn't going to give them any satisfaction. They never really bothered him, in fact very little did seem to bother him and he was a good teacher. The students that seemed to get past the fact that he was gay liked his class and often times girls still tried to hit on him, and he just seemed to shake his head and ignore it because that really was about the only thing that he could do. It also helped that the new teacher was really pretty hot, and so that was the very many reason why he had decided to go and bug him today. He had skipped to the classroom and walked inside crossing his arms when he went inside and called for Tristan scaring him in the process, causing him to grin. "I'm sorry for scaring you. So how was it, your first class ever?" he had to ask.

tristan never really knew if he wanted to be a teacher until he did a day camp during the summer where he taught kids music. it was so fun to be able to show the appreciation for the arts with children. it seemed like no one cared about the arts anymore, and tristan wanted to change that. by teaching music, he was allowing music to live onto the next generation. more and more people were forgetting about music, and only cared about the newest technology. they did not care about getting to know music or appreciate how beautiful music truly was. there were people who only cared about sitting on their cell phones, on social media sites like twitter, and facebook, and tristan hated that. there was no life when you did everything through the internet. it was better to live and feel everything, rather than tweet about it.
now tristan was going to teach until the day that he retired. and he was hoping he liked his job. no, there wasn't tons of money involved in the job, but he was going to be happy being around music all the time. it was a dream for him. money meant nothing when he could be around his love. tristan was ready for the job, and he knew it was going to be tough at first. he just wanted to make music fun, and not have people dreading coming to band or chorus. earlier that day he had made a survey asking people what songs they wanted to sing in chorus. tristan believed the students should be able to sing what they want, not songs he picked for them, especially if they hated them. "the first day seems to be going well, so far. i hope i don't do anything to make any of the students hate or dislike me. i want to be a teacher that everyone likes," he said, peering at him.

Leander liked teaching no matter how difficult his job seemed to be sometimes, he always hated teaching students that just didn't care about literature and made it a point to make it known. They would not do any of the work he would assign and even go as far as ignoring him when he tried to teach and then wonder just why they had a bad grade in his class, and it was just ridiculous. He hated those students who seemed to think that they would just be handed good grades because that just wasn't the type of person that Leander was, and even when he was a student his teachers didn't do that. It was strange just how much school changed even though he was still young and had been a student his self only a few years ago. Today it was as if everyone had a cell phone and they were so attached to them, and sometimes he loved taking people's cell phones away because it made him see just how they functioned without them and it was really funny.
Some of the people actually got really mad at him for taking their phones away, but it really was just all part of his job and he hated having to write people up. He wasn't one for detentions because it meant he had to stay after school and he actually really hated doing that, he actually even found that boring. He liked being able to go home and just grade papers or something, and doing detentions cut into his time to do that and it was really just no fun. He remembered his first year teaching, it was just horrible and he hoped that Tristan's very first day teaching went well for him because no one likes a sucky first day. "That's good, my very first day was hell because they all seemed to know that I was a new teacher and they used that to their advantage" he shuddered at the very memory and sighed a little bit. "I think my students hate me for some reason, and I'm not even a bad teacher" he added frowning.
