kansas is and always has been the definition of a tom boy, she would take a beer in a dingy old bar over a fancy cocktail in a plush club any day, would rather watch a game of football over any of that reality tv bull shit and couldn't give a flyingfuck hoot about which celeb was dating which. for the most part, she's laid back as they come and a complete sweetheart when you get to grips with her brutal honesty and constant sarcasm, it takes a lot to wind her up but if you push the right buttons she turns into a crazy raging bull, when she loses it, she loses it and is near impossible to calm down. the girl is also stubborn as hell and when she knows she's right she will fight her argument until she's blue in the face, she can't stand being wrong and rarely admits it. when it comes to hobbies, kans is up for anything with an adrenaline rush, you name it she's probably tried it, base jumping, cave diving, swimming with sharks, the girl is fearless to a point where her family are sure she has a death wish. It's her adrenaline junkie problem that lead her into her job, no not her little garage that she runs, the whole grand theft auto job, she's a girl of simple things and has never really been in it for the money (even if it is amazing) there's nothing she loves more than being behind the wheel of a car with a roaring engine but the fear that she could get caught at any stage and the tension as you wait for the right moment was like a drug to her. Car 'liberating' is what she so fondly likes to call this job though and in her mind, she's stealing from the rich who can't appreciate the cars and giving them to those who really know how to work them. because of this side of her job (and her up bringing) kansas is one touch cookie and knows how to hold her own in more ways than one and isn't someone you would want to mess with.

born and raised in doyle, tennessee, population less 600 people, kansas grew up in an all man family, her mother had killed herself when she was just a tiny baby thanks to postnatal depression (among other reasons) and so was raised by her 4 older brothers and strict father on their little ranch in the boonies. she would never claim to have had a bad up bringing but there were certainly things that could have been better; after her mothers death, her old man changed, or so her older brothers said, and there was always something not quite right about the way her was with his youngest and only daughter, they all knew what it was though none of them ever said it aloud. he blamed poor kansas for his wife's death and had never made much of an effort to hide it so to say their relationship was shaky was an understatement but it wasn't until she was older that problems really started to come up until they reached a boiling point, the two butted heads over something or other and everything that had been building up over the past 18 years burst to the surface, in her black out rage at the man, kansas said a many things she had never dared say before, about how it wasn't her fault mom was gone, that he should have seen the signs and much more. Unfortunately for kansas, her rage issues were something she had inherited for her father and in that moment the man lunged for her and pinned her by her throat to the wall. Who knows when he would have let go, or if he would have at all, there's a change she may not have been here at all had it not been for her best friend (and ex-boyfriend) come in to pick her up to go out. It didn't take long for rumors to spread around the tiny town about how she had got herself the bruises around her neck, the general consensus was that she had tried to follow in her mothers foot steps and failed and she never said anything to discourage people from thinking that, no body needed to know what had really happened, not even her brothers, especially not them, who knew what they would do to their old man if they knew the truth. It wasn't long after that incident that she skipped town and never looked back. At 19 she started dating a guy who would eventually get her into the car theft industry, the relationship eventually fizzled out but her love for the job never did. Since then she has been living contently in her new life and never plans to go back.
