Colette wasn't a fan of his new personality and their relationship was having several issues. she was comfortable and felt insecure. there were several times they would arguments and he feared losing her. what made it harder for him was to see her point out the change in him every now and then . he felt like his past was haunting him and he hated himself. she deserved to be treated better than this. he loved her and he wanted to make her feel loved, special not inscure or uncomfortable. he decided to change himself for her, to become the old chester who she liked a lot. at first he felt like pretending to be the innocent chester because he wasn't innocent anymore but that side came out of him naturally. he was starting to feel normal, the same old chester who he had been once but then again he was only doing this for colette. there were times when he would have the personality clash, where he would find himself trying too hard to keep the dirty thoughts out of his head and pretend to be innocent and sweet yet slip out perverted joke every now and then and apologize. it was hard but he wasn't going to mess anything tonight. If it hadn't been for the ball invitation by Samantha, Chester would be spending this time with Colette at a romantic dinner around the beach or a long drive. He was going to pick her from her place. He left his house in hurry, wearing a tux but he had his coat off and the button of his shirt opened. he didn't wanted to get late so he hurried and was at her house in less than fifteen minutes. he got out of the car trying to tie his bow tie but didn't know how to do it. his collars were standing unneat. he needed help. he knocked at the door and covered his face with a boquet of red and white roses, her favorite and a box of chocolate in the heart shaped. Happy Valentine's day babe! he entered in and placed the items aside and kissed her cheeks. just a little help needed with the tie.. usually it's Ryan who ties my tie but he wasn't home. Think you can do this? he asked, his hands on his tie as he tried to tie the knots but failed. he had a surprise for her, it was a little box with a shinning diamond ring with C&C written by it's side. it was a promise ring for future, not an engagement ring. they were too young to think of that but this was the only romantic thing he could think of but decided to wait a little before taking it out. by the way, you look gorgeous, like really very pretty. when did I get this lucky? he smiled, looking deeply into her eyes and smiling. let's take a picture together. he suggested, holding her by her waist and clicking pictures on his Iphone. For the past six months, Colette and Chester had been dating... secretly. It actually surprised her how long they managed to keep it from other people. Sure, there were issue. Then again, it was nothing new. Ever since they were spotted together, everyone expected they were dating but the two always denied and said they were just best friends. Which was true. Cole thought she could maintain just being best friends with Chester. She loved him... and he had showed a lot of times that he loved her back... but it was complicated. They can't be together. In a few months, she was getting married to her betrothed. To a guy she didn't even chose to marry. She loved Chester so much, she didn't want him to feel any pain later on. She just wanted him to be happy... but somehow, the blonde irish singer made a way to make her say yes.

Colette took a deep breath as she looked at herself in the mirror. Ever since she heard about the Valentine's ball, she had actually told herself to not go. She had a bet with her cousin a few years back... they had to compete who longest didn't get a date on Valentine's plus, she wasn't really the one who celebrates Valentine's Day, but she didn't want to make Chester upset... especially that now, he's making an effort to her. Being with him just felt so right. She didn't care about losing that bet anymore. The thing that really made her nervous and bothered is that... it was her first with Chester. First night at a ball with him. Their first Valentine's. Colette wasn't used into being in a relationship. It had been years since she actually had a boyfriend. She had no idea how to act. She just wanted to be perfect for Chester tonight. Even if its a risk of people knowing about their relationship, it was a night to set loose. The two would be wearing a mask anyway... Colette had been staring at herself in the mirror for what seemed like hours. She felt as if there was something missing but her most closest cousin had insisted she was fine. She fiddled with her fingers as she made sure everything was perfect then she felt goosebumps as she heard a knock on the door. She looked at her cousin who grinned. "Go." She said and pulled Colette out of the seat. Colette smiled at her then took a deep breath and opened the door, just to be greeted by Chester with a beautiful boquet of flowers and chocolates. "Uhm... Wow, thanks Chester." she said, almost speechless. She was started to get nervous. She blushed as he kissed her cheek then she let out a chuckle. "You really need to grow up and learn," She joked then took his tie and made the perfect knot to it. "Then again, I'd love to tie your tie everyday." She smiled and kissed his cheek. Colette took a deep breath as she finished wrapped her arms around his waist. She was glad he liked how she looked like tonight.... but no one can compare to how he gave the butterflies in her stomach and how he always gave her the sparks. Colette had let Chester took some pictures and even made some faces at it. Perhaps this would be a night she'll never forget.

It took him too long to stand back onto his feet from the shattered pieces. he was the loyal type, who would sincerely and fully devote himself to just one person. whenever he fell, he fell too fast and too hard. from his previous experiences, he had learned only one thing, not to regret. love wasn't supposed to give you that feeling, he told himself. he was going to do everything it was going to take him to keep colette happy. He had changed a lot since his previous breakup and this change was affecting his terms with colette. he didn't wanted her to be uncomfy and upset so he decided to go back to the old chester, who was accepted by colette. the change was hard. he was having a split personality, sometimes acting innocent while sometimes, laughing at dirty comments. it was like a dual personality but he was trying to please her. with the door opened, he leaned over to peck her cheeks and look at her, taking in all her beauty. she was driving him crazy. he coughed and pointed at his tie and she helped him with it. he flashed a grin. growing up is a curse and if I grow up you can't have opportunities like this he wrapped his arms around her waist gently holding her as she tied his tie. he rested his head against hers and smiled as she said that she'd love to tie his tie everyday. marry me someday then he teased, leaning down and kissing her head. he got his cheeks kissed in return. the feeling she gave him was always taking him to the seventh sky. they took pictures together in his cell phone that never got onto the internet unless they had it on twitter or facebook and that was spread onto tumblr. there was paparazzi to make their lives even more miserable however, chester and colette were too good at fooling their fans and pretending that they werent in any relationship but just best friends. let's go then? he offered and held out his arm for her to hold on. he opened the door of the car for and made her sit in. closing the door of the car he got in and drived them to the ball with their masks on so nobody could recognize them. before they could walk out, he leaned over, inches away from her lips and whispered, where are my kisses? he looked deeply into her eyes. Colette wasn't entirely sure how she became best friends with Chester Eddy Parker. It just... happened so suddenly until they became so close with one another. They shared every single thing with each other, yet, they hide something for themselves. Colette didn't really tell Chester she's a model. Then again, she doesn't tell other people about it unless they already knew. Colette had remembered Chester being upset when he found out, feeling as if she kept a secret to him even though it wasn't really a secret for Colette. Just by that moment, Colette felt guilty. Not because of keeping something to Chester, but because she has a much more deeper secret that she had been keeping for the past five years. A secret that made her want to vanish on earth. At first, she thought it didn't matter. They were just best friends afterall but somehow, she couldn't bring herself to tell Chester. Not even before he started showing his feelings to her. Colette felt as if that problem was only for her to suffer and only for her and her family to know. Now, that she is finally with Chester, she always felt guilty. She feels as if she's just hurting him every single day. She feels as if she's lying to him whenever they talk about the future. But she wouldn't want to ruin this night, no. This night is special for the both of them. A night where all the problems can be thrown away. A night where its just the both of them that matters. Colette smiled as Chester brought her closer to him, it felt so right to be close to him. "True... stay as my childish Chester then? She chuckled and looked at Chester's tie as she finished. That was another thing that always made Colette smile, his childishness. Colette found it adorable and amusing. She had certainly missed it when... Chester's personality started changing... all he ever talked about was dirty things and... things that doesn't really make Colette comfortable. Colette pulled out a smile and looked up at him as he meantioned for her to marry him someday. Honestly, Colette would love to marry him more than anyone else in the world. She would love to spend her forever with Chester... but she can't. Colette grabbed his arm and took her mask as she got in his car. She settled hersef and wore the mask. Even though it didn't cover her whole face, it was easy to say she wore a different mask at the ball. As Chester parked the car, she got a hold of the handle of the car to get out but Chester leaned to her, inches away. Colette blushed at the closeness of their lips. It made her nervous. She stared back at his eyes and placed a hand on his cheek, "I'm not sure... but I have an idea." She smiled and wrapped an arm around his neck and leaned in....

What a shame but he got over it when he realized that in a way, he was also keeping a secret from her which was that he had feelings Isa. this didn't mean that he was gay or something. he never felt that way for anyone but Isa and their only way of comforting each other was getting in bed. he could never bring himself to confess this to Colette. she would never look at him the way she did. She would treat him as if he were a gay and Chester didn't wanted that. He had once had a bitter time dealing with bullshit like that and didn't wanted it to happen, ever again. naturally he had the tendency to keep it hidden but his bandmates knew that chester and isa felt something for each other and always teased the two of them but never actually took them seriously so their secret was well hidden, which was a good thing. there were times he had thoughts of telling about it to Cole but he feared of losing her. for his own satisfaction, he'd always think that it was his past so there was no need to bring his past into his present and ruin it. in fact, he didn't want anything to ruin their chemistry. he was already trying too hard to stand up to her expectations. he looked into her eyes, searching them deeply and nodded. always, i'm gonna try my best. he smiled and kissed her forehead. fifteen minutes drive and he was there in the parking lot. before pulling on their masks, he leaned closer and asked for his kisses. there were her kisses, he couldn't stay without and wanted to have enough of them before they entered the party. although he had planned to sneak her into the dark corners and sneak a quick kiss or two but also wanted to utilise this time as well. she leaned for and kissed him. his kissed her back, softly and passionately.her lips moulding over his and he deepened the kiss and smiled while kissing. i love you, so much he said and felt the ring box against his heart. he couldn't wait any futher and pulled out the box, breaking the kiss. I have been thinking.. he hesitated. t-t-that.. y-you.. he gulped. he was too nervous and scared of rejection but had pulled out the ring and showed it to her. i got you something, it's a promise ring he said, holding her hand and kissing it. i'd be on my knees but with everyone around i don't think i can but i'd like you to know that i want to have my future with you and this is my promise ring he smiled, impatiently waiting for her response. before colette ever known that she was going to marry a stranger, she fell in love with a guy that had always been there for her. they had liked each other for so long and colette was the happiest girl in the world when they got together. they kept it a secret though. it was mutual decision. colette never really showed much affection, she wasn't sure on how to act in relationships for that guy was her first boyfriend. she was thankful for the fact that the boy didn't mind it at all. everything was perfect and she was on cloud nine. was. one day, colette came from school and her parents spoke to her. they had informed her about the marriage. and that is where everything fell down. colette broke up with his boyfriend, leaving him clueless... without telling him any reason. colette never spoke to him again because after a week, she already moved to l.a. what happened years ago hurt colette. but the thing that bothered her the most is that she broke a heart without giving an explaination. she was scared of it. she never wants to hurt anyone again. but chester... chester came in her life. she loved him more than anyone in the world. it pained her whenever chester brought the subject of marriage. colette knew he was serious about it. and her plan? her plan was to graduate and fly back to paris without anyone knowing. she would repeat her mistake and leave chester without an explaination...

colette had done so many things that can hurt chester even more. but... she doesn't want to hurt him now. colette wants him to be happy right now. she wants him to know that she really loves him but at the same time, she wanted chester to be who he really is before she leaves him. she wants him to go back to the real chester she fell in love with. the place of the ball wasn't really that far. it was just a few minutes drive but enough for colette to enjoy the drive with the one she truly loves. colette had been nervous about this night but right now with chester inside his car, it felt like it didn't matter anymore. she felt so comfortable now. she just felt like everything is just perfect. it was a fairytale. colette had scooted on the car seat a little bit so she would be closer to him. she tilled her head to the side a bit as their lips touched. it brought so many sparks and fireworks to her. she will never ever get tired of his kisses. it was only chester who makes her feel this way. their lips moved perfectly together and she just wants everything to pause. she just wants to stay like this forever and ever. he gives the best kisses... colette felt a blush creep up her cheeks when he told her he loves her. it was magic to her ears. "i love you too, chester." she muttered against his lips. when chester pulled out, she had a big smile on her face. colette was a bit curious on what he had got to say. he was nervous and it made her nervous, too. colette's smile fell and she widened her eyes and she saw a little box. chester pulled out the ring and she took a deep breath. the ring was beautiful. it was heart shaped. this was one of colette's biggest fear. she had promised herself this was going to be the most perfect night for chester... but she didn't want to make him hope even more. it was impossible for them to share their future together... but colette wanted that. she wanted to marry chester in the future and spend their eternity together. colette looked at chester's eyes. it was going to break his heart if she said no. she couldn't bear to see that. and she wanted this... she always had. colette took a deep breath and pulled out a smile. "chester... you're a high school student and a singer. you're one of the most wanted guys in the whole world..." she started and bit her lip, "you've been my best friend for years now and you've always been there for me. i never expected that you would fall in love with me... but being with you has been one of the most happiest moments of my life. i love you, chester... and i would... i would love to spend my future with you." she finished and hugged him tightly.
