- - - - - - - - - -[/center][/font][/size] Anya walked down the street bundled up to the nines, to be warm. the weather was a wee bit nippy and anya was just tired of crying. she looked around for the number that she'd written down on a scrap of paper and shivered. it was unusually cold and she only had what she could fit in her backpack to wear the next day. The houses were not that hard to read, it was basically the fact she’d been crying all morning making the hard decision to run off. ( and it never seems out of place )For Los Angeles, it had gotten a little cold, and that was really weird: it was hard for Alison to grasp it. She asked her parents why it got so cold, but they only told her to stop asking questions. As they were getting ready to go out, her mom looked at her. "You and George have a good time, dear. We'll be back in a few hours or later. Just make sure you go to bed. And don't let in any strangers." Mr. Everdeen looked at his wife. "Honey, it's a stuffed giraffe. Stop acting like it's real." Mrs. Everdeen looekd at her husband, and laughed. "Oh, of course..silly me." Alison smiled, even though the jab had hurted her slightly. "What if Anya and Keegan come by? They aren't strangers."' [/color] Her parents sighed. "Just don't let any one come in. Goodbye, dear!" her mother said, kissing Alison on the head, and out they went. Alison sighed, and sat down on the couch, the silence over-bearing. Suddenly, she gasped when she saw a person walking down the down street. "George, look! It's a person!"[/color] she told the giraffe, but as she looked closer, her eyes widen. "George, it's Anya!"[/color] she said, getting off the couch, and unlocking the door, opening it. "Anya! " i took off.. i can't go back there... my parents are starting to get a clue." She said. “I know you parents aren’t home… but I couldn’t stay anymore… I broke down and started to cry and I just had to get out, that and they were throwing out Harold! So I grabbed him, wrote down “ going to Alison’s. Will be back whenever I feel like it. Don’t worry about me” So can I stay? Please? I have no where else to go. I’ve got exactly a week left before they’re going to induce me, and I really need a break from walking today. I just don’t know why they are so set against my loving keegan? We love each other, and it just happened that I got pregnant by him, and I got in a bit of trouble by opening my mouth. I don’t get why they don’t like him.. I guess it like your parents not liking me so much. ( and it never seems out of place ) Alison bit her lower lip as she listened to Anya. It was true: her parents never liked Anya, but Alison didn't care: she loved Anya like a sister, and she would help her in her time of need, which was now. "Yeah, you can! My parents wouldn't care. And if they do, that's their problem, because you're one of my best friends, my sister from another mister!" [/color] Alison said, giving Anya hug, George included. She pulled away, and she looked at Anya again. "And George would be upset if he didn't have Harold to play with!"[/color] she added, hugging George. George was given to her by her grandparents at a very young age, and took very good care of it. George was the start of her and Anya's friendship too when some kid took George, and Anya went and saved George, threatening to give it back or else something terrifying would happen to him. Alison was very grateful for Anya's help, and called each other friends from that day on. "If you want, you can put your stuff in my room, and we can watch a movie, or just talk."[/color] she commented, giving Anya a smile. She was very excited to have Anya over, and she didn't even think about how her parents had warned her to not open the door to a stranger, but Anya was no stranger: she was Alison's best friend, and she couldn't slam the door on Anya: it'd make her feel bad. And if Keegan showed up, then Alison would be doubled over with happiness because her two best friends were here. [/blockquote][/center] WORDS,, 282!
