okay, i think theo and james could have gone to school together. maybe highschool or part of college (prior to theo dropping out) and he would probably find his bank robbing story really cool. i think knowing each other from highschool could be interesting. he would have known theo before he became really bad and a drug dealer... so he could try to talk some sense into theo and be the guide who tries to persuade him to stop dealing. it probably wouldn't work most times and since theo is a compulsive liar james wouldn't like that. so their friendship could be rocky... but at the end of the day the two obviously don't want to see each other hurt so yeah ;D

Okay, if you don't like this or don't think it's plausible or whatever just shoot it down straight away, I wont mind I'm just in an idea throwing mood today. So... I said in Kans app that the reason she got into being a car thief because of an ex she met when she first moved to LA, my thought was that when she moved here she was desperate for money to get herself on her feet on her own but nothing legal was working out and she wasn't even making enough to pay the rent on her crappy apartment so she hooked up with James and his brothers for their bank robbery and that was where she got the buzz for theft and started to steal cars after that. I'm not saying James would have been her ex, I don't think their ages work and the fact you said he doesn't do relationships but maybe she was dating one his brother at the time and had been for a while? I'll leave it at that for now and if you like the idea then we can carry on to figure out what their relationship may be now. xD

If they went to highschool, and his scottish with James being of Irish decent, they'd probably have gotten along really well and Theo could have helped them with the bank robbery. Once Theo became a drug dealer, I think James would try to get him to see how dangerous the decision was and how it isn't like robbing the bank and, no he wouldn't like being lied to haha He HATES being lied to, in fact, and their friendship would def be strained over it but they're too close to want to fight one another or anything. Sounds good to me

JAMES & KANSAS

I can see her dating one of his older brothers, namely Michael (Saint Michael as they called him) his 25 yr old brother who helped him come up with the plan for the robbery. She'd had to have been dating him for a year or more if they trusted her enough to let her in on the robbery but I think that James would respect her for her skills and probably still keep in some small amount of contact with her since his brothers scattered with Michael going back to Ireland, David went to New York and John headed off to Canada agreeing to stay separate for a few years until things died down. The only reason James stayed was for school but he did get the knack for robbery and crime but keeps it suppressed a bit as best her can. Considering she dated his brother, I think they'd be friends and her dating Michael is all that stops him from trying to sleep with her (since he doesn't do love, just sex) and he'd never do that to his bro. Yeah that sounds pretty much how I imagined it, she would have been in town a while before she resorted to criminal acts for money so she would have been with his brother a while before they executed the plan. They could sort of be friends but aren't very good at keeping in touch and are more opportunist friends, like they're more than happy to hang out when they meet each other at parties or out and about and always say they'll keep in touch but never do? Maybe she could invite him along to one of her gigs? Because she knows she can trust him and that he knows what he's doing?
