Elliot was bored, basically due to the fact that he didn’t have work to do and he didn’t have anything to do either so he was trying to figure out something to do right now and it wasn’t working. It seemed that everyone he tried to call either didn’t answer or they were already don’t stuff today and didn’t need him to be a tag along, he was actually quite hurt that someone would actually call him a tag along because he actually seemed to think that he was very far from actually being one but knew it was their opinion and not his so he did not say anything about it and just hung up before moving onto the next person on his phone almost even desperate now. Each number he dialed it was always the same, and he was actually starting to even get upset because he never thought he was really that awful of a person that no one even wanted to be around him.
The thought of that hurt as he just sat his phone down beside him on the bench that he was sitting on and glanced around the park at all the people around that were all just having fun and frowned wishing he was able to do that too, he wished someone would come and pull him out of his boredom. He didn’t think anyone was going to do that though, oh no he would just sit here like this all alone in till he finally decided that he had enough of all of this and went home. Yes, it did happen a lot to him lately and glancing at his phone again he tried to think of someone else he could try and get a hold of to actually do something before he finally had an idea and typed a text message to his best friend’s cousin. Mattius was a really nice guy and he did like to even call them friends and if anyone was able to at least pull him out of his depressed and feeling alone state he could.
The message was simple, basically stating that Elliot had nothing to do and needed someone to just talk to and spend time with because he was off from work and if he wasn’t free he was basically going to die. It was quite a tragic message indeed and he just really hoped that Mattius would actually listen to it, because it was that or he was going to go home and he just hated being at home sometimes because home was just so boring.

mattius had been spending the week unpacking and getting his new home into tip top shape. and of course, looking at american girls who seemed to be a lot more attractive than the girls he would see at home in sweden. nothing against the girls there, but he had gotten to know too many of them, and was glad to see a change of faces. he also had been hanging out with cousin, trying to get the hang of the completely new country that he had been thrown into. he surely was not used to this, it was so different and some of the things that people said around him made him so confused. for the most part, he knew basic english. he could speak and understand people, but when it got to slang words, he was completely over his head. he was sure he probably had people swearing at him all the time, and he had no idea that they were doing it. today he had finally finished getting his room exactly how he had wanted it, and now he wanted to go out and do something. his cousin was probably with his girly friend trinity, but he checked his phone and saw he had a text from elliot, his cousins friend.
he read the text message before sending a reply that he would meet elliot where he was, if he could find the place. since he had just moved here it had been iffy, trying to find where places were. he had gotten lost at school a few times, but now he was finally getting use to it. the place elliot had mentioned was somewhere that mattius had gone to with bentley, so he was sure he could find it if he remembered how they had walked there. it wasn't far from his house at all, in fact he was sure it was just a few blocks away, at most. he put on a shirt before heading down to the recreation center, lucky that he remembered where it was located. he smiled at elliot as he sat down next to him, on the bench that he was resided on. "hello," he said in his thick swedish accent. "your request is my demand," he laughed a little, looking over at his friend.

Elliot lived with his mother in a small two bedroom apartment on at decent part of town where when you walked down the street you didn’t need to fear being jumped. Basically to Elliot that counted as a better side of town, this was LA after all and he heard about of a lot of stuff that happened around here. He decided that stuff like this happened in every town though, so it didn’t really make them any more special than rest of them and he never did think that the crime rate of a town make it really special anyway. He never saw anyone boasting about how high the crime rate where they lived was, because crime was an issue and something that was supposed to be avoided but since everything was just so messed up in the world it was obvious that was out of the question. It all came down to how a person was raised, because if they were raised by a certain person in a certain way they would be influenced in that said way and they would act differently than someone else being raised in a totally different way. That was basically life in general though, and that was always how he lived by. He was raised to have manners by his mother, and he was going to stand by that and respect people. Respect was something that people didn’t seem to even have anymore; it just wasn’t even fair to the people who did respect others.
You give respect to get respect, and that was just what he went by and it was always something that he would live by and sitting on this bench here he glanced around at everyone walking by just to see what they did and view them. Sure it seemed like something that was almost creepy, but he just seemed to do it a lot when he was bored because people seemed to interest him a lot. He always got interested in the way people interacted with their environment, and he never seemed to really even know why. It was funny almost, he would sit there and watch people and they never even seemed to notice him as they passed. Sometimes it even seemed that he was almost invisible, not that he didn’t really care about being invisible, and at least when you were invisible no one bothered you. Mattius’ voice was just what pulled him out of his thoughts and he grinned. “Well hello to you too, and thank you for coming. I thought I was going to die of boredom” he laughed, hey it could happen.

mattius was really hoping that he would make friends here. way back at home he had plenty of friends who he hung out with all the time. and there were girls who were always all over him because, well, he was extremely attractive. when he heard he was moving he was nervous, but also excited. and of course he was a bit sad that he was going to have to leave all of his friends behind. he did promise his best friend that he would invite him up to visit sometime, because once you were best friends with someone, distance shouldn't be the thing that seperated the friendship. people were so upset when they heard that was leaving and he wasn't going to be coming back, unless it was to visit. his parents wanted to move out here, and he wasn't going to argue. plus, there was nothing that he could do about it. if they wanted to move, he was going. and here he was, in the land of america.
the only people he knew right now were his cousin and his friend elliot, but he was sure that was going to change as he started talking to people. he was extremely friendly, so it was very easy for him to make friends. he liked it that way. he never had to worry about being lonely or having nothing to do. some people hated having a lot of friends, but he thought the more the merrier. right now he was going to have a good time with elliot. "i don't think you can really die of boredom.... he said, although he wasn't exactly sure of it. he had never gotten so bored that he did, and often he got bored. but then again, he was the type to go out and do something the second he got bored. "i might be wrong," he said, his accent coming out more and more.

Elliot had been born here, and he had lived in this area his entire life with his mom and dad and at first they seemed like a pretty good family. Sure they had their issues but for the most part things were just great, and it wasn't in till his father had walked out on them when things really seemed to change and he had to learn to do stuff on his own for a change. He learned to cook, and in fact after a while he even excelled in cooking and he went to get a job at the bakery as one of the people who worked on cakes and made other pastries. It was almost funny just how good he was at the little flowers and the decorations that he could make on cakes, even when his real dream was to some day become a doctor and help people out that way. It also helped that working as a doctor could pay a lot more than being a bakery all his life would but for now it was a way to make money for the things he and his mother needed and being a pretty decent employee he was paid pretty well too.
He tried to take his job pretty seriously when he was working, since he really couldn't afford losing it. He even liked his job since it was something he was really good at, and the people he worked with were really nice and not to mention it was a way to be closer to Vanessa who also happened to work there. He loved always being able to see her and just goof off with her at work, it was actually something he looked forward too each time at work and sitting there he had to stop from smiling when he seemed to think about it since Mattius was here. "I don't know, there are people dying from some really weird things lately on those TV shows. I for one just seem to think it's really creepy but hey, makes you realize that perhaps a person can die from boredom" he shrugged his shoulders. "So I am actually thinking of what we should do, but I have no ideas" he added. He never knew that to do though.
