Carter had certainly been waiting for this day ever since he had been with Chasity. He had been waiting and planning for Valentines Day. He wanted to make her feel special... and he wants their first Valentines to be special and memorable. Chasity was everything to him, and now is one of the right times to show it.He never really knew there was a ball until Sam gave out the invitations. He first planned a sweet evening together but maybe this masquerade ball could end up better than his idea.

Carter looked at his reflection in the mirror and smiled, hoping he looked good enough for Chasity. He just wanted everything to be perfect. He fixed his tux one more time before grabbing his keys and phone. He didn't bother checking on Janessa, the two already had a talk about it and he trusted her anyway. Carter went outside of the house to his car and got inside. Even the car was washed perfectly. Carter laughed at himself. He was whipped. He started the car and drove to Chasity's house... as he was supposed to...

Carter was her first and she hoped he would be her only and last, as well. she could see her future with him. there was no doubt that she was willing to spend the rest of her life with him. she was thinking she'd be spending her valentine's day baking a chocolate cake for janessa as it was her birthday but there was a slight change in the plan. samantha had thrown over a ball party and all the celebrities were invited. Even though chasity wasn't among the celebrities, she wasn't treated any less than the celebs by the paparrazzi. they would follow her whenever she was out with carter or any of his friends and the news reporters would keep a close eye on them, on her twitter, facebook but being the girlfriend must have earned her haters, mostly girls who were jealous of her and wanted to be with Carter, & yet never the respect from the barrymore, who would treat her like an ordinary slave of theirs. they would make her work day and night from cleaning the house to taking care of their little kids. it was a good feeling to be treated like a normal person but they would barely give her a day off. for the past two weeks she hadn't met Carter however they managed to skype till late night. it was tiresome to stay awake till late night for Carter and wake up early to dress up the kids and get them ready for schools but always worth it after all she loved Carter. Luckily, the barrymore had planned to spend their Valentine's day in france, Chasity's hometown but she denied to leave nor did they seem willing to take her along. they wanted someone to look after their house so this was her excuse to stay behind and spend her days and nights with Carter for the rest of the week. She hadn't met her family in ages but she didn't care. Carter meant more. There was a knock at the door. Chasity quickly started to set her hair. she couldn't decide if she wanted them to be tied or open. Carter's designer had gotten a beautiful white dress designed for her on short notice and yet it fit her prefectly. it was tight, short and perfectly setting down on her curves. it was pure white, strapless and deep neck. this was the first time Chasity wore an expensive yet short piece of cloth that wrapped her body like a cage and she loved it. Carter wasn't allowed to see the dress before so this was going to be new to his eyes. Nervously she ran a hand through her hair. what if he wouldn't approve of the dress? was it too short? too tight? after all he was on protective boyfriend. she nervously pulled onto the sides of her dress upwards and rushed for the door. hey she opened the door and leaned over, pecking onto his cheeks. you look great, i'm in love she chuckled. as his eyes travelled down her dress, she nervously pulled onto the sides of her dress upwards trying to cover as much as she could. i guess it's a bit too short for your taste? i can go change... People always had an impression on Carter that he was rather protective of his girls. That he won't let anyone get near them or touch them, which is true. To his mother, he would always make her smile and he basically takes all of her problems to himself. He wouldn't want her to ever suffer again. Carter's mother had been through enough. He wouldn't let a boy touch his mother, especially his sister. Oh boy. Whenever a boy comes near Janessa, he goes all 'ninja' on them. He threatens them. Even though he knew he was just overreacting, he feels like its his duty. To him, Janessa is just a little girl who is as fragile as a glass jar. And lastly. Chasity. The love of his life. The girl who ne never wants to lose. He promised himself, he would make her life better....

Carter wanted this day to be perfect. He planned it even but then again, most plans don't come out as a person would hope so by the end of the day, he just wanted to go with the flow. Carter smiled as Chasity opened the door. He didn't expect what was in front of him, though. His mouth hanged a little bit open as he looked at her up and down. Carter never really saw Chasity dress like this before... it was short and it showed her curves. He closed his mouth when he noticed and gluped. He wasn't even sure what she was saying anymore. To him, Chasity was the most beautiful girl on earth right now... as she always was. Carter smiled and shook his head slowly, "You can't be as in love with me as I'm in love with you." He grinned and held her hand then shook his head completely then leans in her ear, "You look perfect tonight, babe. I feel like I wanna ditch the ball and stay here with you all night." He whispered then winked.

as carter had always said, chasity was the best thing to ever happen to him. before carter met chasity, he used to just date around and flirt. he never wanted to commit. he never wanted to settled with someone. he was afraid for what happened years ago. he didn't want that to happen again. he doesn't want to be left again, he doesn't want a life dead because of him. it had been a trauma of his that only a few people knew. when carter had first kissed chasity, he was afraid of what would happened and he ignored her, with the thought that she would forget about him...but instead, she had hurt herself because of him. he never wanted to do that to chasity again. carter wanted her to be happy. carter loves her and chasity loves him. that's all that matters to carter right now.
