Alison sighed. It was such a beautiful day outside, and here she was, inside. Her parents made her come to their office at the hospital for "testing" because they believed she had problems: they think she acted child because she wanted attention, and her dad, being a child doctor, thought he could talk to her. "Alison, sweetie, pay attention." Alison turned to her dad, who was looking at her sternly. "But, daddy! It's so nice outside, and I need to go to the recording studio!"

[/color] Alison slightly whined, pulling George, her stuffed giraffe closer to her chest. Her dad sighed. "Alison, I promise once this is over, I'll let you go. Please don't be diffcult." Alison sighed again, and her dad looked at her. "I'm going to give you a simple math sheet to work on, okay? Then, once you get it done, you can go." It wasn't even several minutes before Alison finished it, grabbed her bag and George, and called, "Bye, Daddy!"[/color]

Outside, Alison grinned. She hated being under her parents's eye, and outside, she could be free. Along the way, Alison took out her phone, and she texted Keegan, seeing if he wanted to meet her at the recording studio to work together. Working on her music might take her mind off of her dad and his testing. It wasn't long before she was at the recording studio, and went into one of the rooms, setting her stuff down on the couch, grabbed George, and sat down near the controls. The recording studio was one of her favorite places to be, besides the recreation center. Alison knew she wanted to be a singer at the age of two while singing a Beatles song. But, her parents thought singing wasn't a proper career choice, but Alison begged to differ because she had a growing fanbase, and her videos on Youtube always got good comments, and with Keegan singing and playing instruments, it made it even better.

Alison bit her lower lip, and glanced at the door every so often. She never liked it when people were late, and Alison was on time for everything, including the meetings she had with her dad every week. But, she could understand that Keegan could be running late, or was doing something else, so while waiting for him, she took out her iPod, strolled through the list of songs, and let the music soothe her, and forget the world for a minute.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/center]

It also didn't help that his parents were always on his case which made it even harder for him to actually do anything anyway, it seemed that the minute he tried to sit in his room and write they would call him down and give him something to do. He liked to believe they basically just liked to ruin his life, but he knew that seemed drastic and he shouldn't be thinking that way. He loved his family on certain days, and there was also the days when they just seemed to get on his nerves and he would rather be anywhere else than being at home and right now he was actually just glad to have his moment to leave and just go to the studios and make music with his good friend Alison who he really did like being around. Sure she could be a little childish, but he was okay with that because he was okay with childish people. Running his fingers through his hair he sighed, lately he had a lot going on in his mind too and the main thing he had going on was the fact he had just figured out he was going to be a father in a few months and he was still pretty freaked out over that. Sure it was still early in all of it, but the thought of being a father so young was always going to be a total shock to him and he really wasn't sure if he was ready but he knew he loved Anya. He also knew that he had to step up and just be there for her, and that was just what he planned to do in the end. Sure he was terrified, but he had time to plan everything out, and right now he was just going to go and try to forget all of his troubles the best that he could. The minute he was in his car he was gone, his guitar in the back seat, he hardly left home without it and within fifteen minutes he was slamming his door and hurrying into the studios and right to where he was to meet Alison his guitar right with him. He smiled seeing his red headed friend sitting there, knowing he was a little bit late but it was merely because he got the text a little late and had to get dressed before he left. He just simply pulled on a pair of jeans and a shirt he found that was clean and ran out the door, just glad to be out of the house for once and away from his parents. "Sorry I'm late, I hate to get dressed before coming and my parents were also just being a total pain in the butt so had to tend to them too of course" he grinned and sat down in one of the chairs. "So lets make music shall we" he laughed. lots of words, sorry it took a while, yay

As she was waiting for Keegan to show up, she sang a little to herself to get pumped up. The song she was singing was Hey Jude, and it was her favorite Beatles song. She has always been obsessed with the Beatles, but she guessed it was because her parents played it all the time when she was little, and they always hold a special place in her heart. If someone looked through her iPod, they would think it's weird that she had a bunch of Beatles songs on her iPod because she acted like such a child, so they thought she should have children music on her iPod (and she did: people never seem to look).

Even when Hey Jude ended, Alison looked towards the door, and still no sign of Keegan, and she was tempted to text him again, but she went against it. What if he was driving, and she caused his accident? Alison would feel terrible, and wouldn't live with herself anymore, and everyone would hate her. But, she was just impatient to see him, and that's what got her into a lot. her parents always tell her to be patient, because those who wait will be rewarded generously, so Alison waited, because it was much better to have the actual thing than not having it, right?

Finally, she heard the door close, and she twirled aroind to see Keegan. "Yay! Keegan, you came!"

[/color] she said excitedly, putting away her iPod, getting up from her chair, and giving him a hug, George the giraffe in the middle of the hugfest. She pulled back, and she smiled. "It's okay. I was with my dad before coming here, so I understand."[/color] she added. Her smile turned into a grin. "Yeah, let's!"[/color] she replied, running to the couch to grab her note-book that was full of songs, and sat back down in to her chair, making it twirl before it stopped infront of Keegan. He never seemed to have a break with them, they always seemed to just tell him what to do and expected him to do it because he was obedient and didn’t want to get in trouble. Getting in trouble was the one thing he always seemed to want to avoid, and maybe that was the main reason he decided not to tell his parents what was going on with Anya yet because really he had no idea how too and right now he was just mostly fine with being confused. He even liked being confused, it was a good feeling. His drive to the studio was basically a boring one, but a drive that he took a lot and enjoyed taking because he loved being at the studio just making music since music was a passion of his. He loved to sing and he played guitar and other instruments ever chance that he had, which was why he had his guitar with him right now. He never really did know when he would need it, it always became something that he needed when he least expected it and the instruments there just didn’t fit his standard and didn’t feel right to him. He was fine with using his own guitar, the guitar that he always used and sometimes he would use the piano they had there but those days were rare. Finally walking into the studio was a good feeling, and he was mainly just glad to actually be out of the house and able to do something he actually wanted to do and when Allison hugged him he smiled. She was always so much like a little girl and he never did seem to mind it, in fact by now he was even just use to it that it was to the point he just expected her to be this way. “Parent’s can be pretty annoying sometimes” he shrugged sitting down in one of the chairs with his guitar, “so let’s see what we can do” he looked at her ready for what she had planned. lots of words, sorry it took a while, yay

It was probably safe to say that Keegan and Anya were the very few who could put up with her childish antics. Ever since she turned twelve, she started to act like a child: she hated the idea of growing up, so she had the mindset of a child, but still grew up like all people do. Her dad, a famous child-slash-teen doctor, never had to "test" her, but now it seemed that he always testing her because he was curious as to why she acted this way: it was one of her secrets, but most people figured it out just by looking at her or talking to her.

Alison nodded. "Yeah, my dad can be a little bit annoying, but I love him, and my mom, too."

[/color] Once, when she and Anya were at the store, she saw a box of hair dye, and begged Anya to help her with it. Anya told her that her parents would ground her, and wouldn't like it that she dyed her hair, but Alison begged until Anya gave in, and helped her dyed her hair velvet red cupcake, Alison's favorite snack food. Alison's parents had found out what Alison had done to her hair, and grounded her, just like what Anya had told her. Alison had to clean the sink in the bathroom, and they held George hostaged until her grounding was lifted. That was pure agony, not having George at her side, but it was all worth it.

She bit her lower lip, and thought about it. Alison put George on her lap, and studied her notebook that was full of songs. Alison sort of wanted to cover Taylor Swift's Begin Again rather than a song that she had written. She was a huge Taylor Swift fan, and usually got good reviews when she did a Taylor Swift cover. "I was wondering if we could do a Taylor Swift cover, like Began Again. I haven't done one in forever."[/color] she said, giving him a smile.

Sure his parents always tried to influence him with his decisions he made, but he never let it affect him. His parents always wanted him to take on doing the things that they did, and never once seemed to care about the things Keegan wanted to do and it just felt like his dreams didn’t matter to them. He was use to them ignoring him, and treating him like a servant instead of their son because this was always how his life was. Keegan also did a lot of things his parents didn’t approve of, like getting a girl pregnant he was pretty sure when they found out they were going to be pissed but at least it was a girl he was dating. It also was a good thing that he was actually stepping up and being a father instead of leaving, sure at first that sounded like a good idea but he knew that was such a stupid thing to do when he knew Anya needed him. “I love my parents depending on the day, sometimes they just seemed to be so annoying and just they never support me in anything that I do so it’s hard really” he sighed a little bit shaking his head a little bit. He just hated when his parents acted like that, Keegan did well in school and got good grades but it was never enough. Just sitting there on his chair he hummed listening to Alison talk, she had decided on doing a cover song rather than an original song and he thought that sounded like a good idea. “Sounds like a good idea to me, covers are usually the best thing to do. Originals are good too, but the people usually like covers the best” he knew this from experience. It always seemed to be the covers that he did that people always seemed to like watching, so that was what he did the most. lots of words, sorry it took a while, yay

Alison never had the problem of acting like a little kid. Everyone excepted her to act all mature and grown-up because of her parents, but they were in quite a surprise when they learned that she carried around a stuffed animal named George, and loved to give out hugs. Her parents are quite used to it, but she knew it's hard on them, especially for her dad, but's just simple, and she can't tell them otherwise they'll tell her something different, and she'll freak.

But, the draw-backs of acting like a child was being too native, and maybe too trusting. Alison liked seeing the good in everyone, even if they were a complete bitch to her. Anya was a great example of this: her parents were a little afraid of Alison be-friending Anya because Anya was a little rough around the edges, but Alison didn't care: she loved Anya dearly, and considered her a very good friend. Besides, the two girls balanced each other out, and acted like goofs when no one else was around.

She clapped her hands happily when Keegan agreed to cover Begin Again. "Yay! Can we go throigh it first before recording?

[/color] Alison asked. She, Keegan, and Anya often do videos for Yourube, and usually, she and Anya would sing, while Keegan did back-up and play the guitar (or other instruments). It was really fun, and who knows? It might launch Alison's career of being a singer.

He didn’t want that way so he tried his best to react in a certain way, may it just be for the fact because that was just what his parents would want and he really did happen to be something of a total people pleaser when it came down to it. He wanted people to never be mad at him, and doing things that would make his parents mad at him just had to be avoided. Around his friends it was a total different story because around them he could just be his self, and he never had to worry about them judging him because he knew that they would never judge him like other people would. He seemed to like that aspect about his friends, they weren’t the type of people to go and judge you and they basically let anyone in to be around them no matter who the person was. There weren’t a lot of people around like that anymore; lately people could just be downright brutal, and he hated to see anyone who would be treated wrongly by anyone. People really didn’t deserve the crap that they would get from other people, it just didn’t seem right. This was also why he enjoyed making videos on YouTube with his friends, it was a lot of fun and people really seemed to like them. People seemed to enjoy most of the stuff that he seemed to do, whether he was the one that was singing or if he was just playing the instruments and doing backup. He was capable of doing both and nodding his head in agreement he smiled, “of course” he said. lots of words, sorry it took a while, yay

Alison grinned. She had studied the words before hand, and even watched the music video a thousand times just so she could get a feel for it. Alison also watched other covers of the song too, and was blown away by some of them because the singers were good, and she was absolutely in love with one of the covers by Alex Goor, Megan Nicole, and the Piano Guys. It was one of her absolute favorites, and she was bummed that it wasn't on iTunes yet, because she really wanted to buy it. "Okay!"

[/color] she said, propping the notebook against the looking glass, and began to sing.

Making Youtube videos was probably one of Alison's favorite hobbies. If she could do one thing for the rest of her life, she would make Youtube videos with Keegan and Anya, she would be happy. It didn't take long for Alison to like something: she doesn't get bored easily, and that says a lot, because a normal child would get really bored, but give Alison a book, or a stuffed animal, she'd be occupied for hours on it.

He was able to listen to a song and if he really liked it he would just sit down and try to learn it, most of the songs he learned to play were by ear because it took less time in his opinion and it was easier that way. After playing for years playing instruments came to him almost like a second nature, if someone wanted him to learn to play a song he would just do it without asking questions because he just liked to learn and sitting there on his chair and listening to Alison sing he was just trying to get a feel of the song in his head. Nodding his head he just smiled, what he always seemed to do when Alison or Anya sang because they just both had amazing voices and he just loved to listen to them sing and he loved making videos with both of them. It always was something that made him forget about the crappy day he might have been having before hand, and normally he would be having a really crappy day because of his parents and the fact that they were almost always on his case. Here with his friends it was almost as if none of that even mattered and it just always made things better, “you sound great” he mumbled as he just listened to Alison sing.

Being a Taylor Swift fan, Alison has always loved singing songs that was by her favorite artist, and the people who listen always say that a Taylor Swift song suited her voice any other song out there, and that's saying something. So, naturally, when doing covers, she picked a Taylor Swift song, but if Anya and Keegan didn't want to do it, then Alison had to pick another song to cover. She has done some of her original songs before, such as Put Your Hearts Up and Honeymoon Avuene, but they never got good feed-back like a cover did, and Alison was grateful for that. Before she knew who Alex Goot was (her youtube crush), he commented on a cover she did with Anya and Keegan, and he said that he liked it. She was so excited and happy that she fell over.

She smiled as a sign of thanks to Keegan when she heard him mumble that she sounded great. As she was singing, she got an idea that she, Keegan, and Anya should all sing, like the One More Night video on Youtube that Alex Goot and his friends did. It would be awesome, and Anya and Keegan could get more face time than just her, and people can see how great of singers that they were. She felt comfortable doing videos with Anya or Keegan for now until her career has taken off, and that also made her think of her AIM chat with Gerrald (and she also found out that he was Anya's uncle), and how he told her he could jump-start her career. Alison rather jump-start her career on her own, but a little push couldn't hurt, right?

Once she got done singing, she looked at Keegan, and giggled. "Thanks! That was really fun!"

[/color] she said, giving him another smile. She always loved getting compliments on her singing, because she knew she could sing: she knew a lot of people can't, and she felt bad when she woudl look at the comments on a random video, and see the hurtful things that people say. A lot of them were so rude that Alison had to exit the page. Yes, she was that innocent, but not like Ellias, who didn't know what sex was! Silly boy! Alison looked at Keegan again. "I was thinking that maybe for the next video, you and Anya can sing besides me: it'd be fun, and I think a lot of people would love you if they heard you guys sing besides me sometimes."'[/color] she added.

<sup>Keegan loved singing, he sang all the time and sometimes he wasn't really sure how his voice sounded because he seemed to always seemed to sing background for people. It wasn't that he minded or anything though, sometimes he even liked singing background but sometimes it also seemed to get annoying. He was never able to really show off his voice if he was stuck always singing in the background for everyone else right. That was at least the way that he tried to see it when he sang for anyone else, he would just play his instruments and not really say anything. He was already pretty big into his music, but he knew that he could always be bigger and there was still that he could do with his music that he didn't already. His only issue was actually finding a way to do it.

He smiled looking at Alison nodding his head a little bit as her response, "I bet it was fun. I mean singing is always fun" he shrugged his shoulders and he imagined the things people would comment, a lot of people really did post a lot of rude things and he just got annoyed by it. It was as if they could sing it any better when they would post such things and he knew for a fact that it was totally impossible, it was just stupid really. "That sounds like a pretty good idea to me, it'd be tons of fun and it gives me a chance to sing a little more" he laughed. He didn't mean it to be rude in anyway and he hoped that Alison understood that when he said it, because he just liked to be heard sometimes too was the only issue that he had.</sup>

Alison nodded. She always gave the people who she was singing with (in this case, it was Anya and Keegan) a chance to express them, and sometimes, Alison felt that people tend to get tired of her singing all the time, so that's why she was giving Keegan and Anya a chance to sing in the next video. "Yeah, totally. I always have a feeling that a lot of people get sick of me singing everything. Would you think Anya would be up for it?"

[/color] she asked, knowing fully well that her other friend would be up to sing along her boyfriend. Alison loved hearing Keegan and Anya singing together because they made good harmony together, and she loved seeing interact with each other.

"Singing is always fun. Especially when you're singing someone else. Isn't that right, George?"[/color] she asked, giving the giraffe a smile. Then, she looked at Keegan. He was always singing back-up, or playing instruments, so what's wrong with giving him the spotlight while she hung back: she done that too, where she would let Anya and Keegan take the reigns, and sing while she sung back up, and she didn't mind at all. She bit her lower lip. She was thinking that some-time along the line, she would want to do some of her own songs, but she didn't know how Keegan and Anya would react, because a lot of times, they would usually do covers, but after talking to Gerrald, she had the confidence, but she was nervous: what they said no?

<sup>Keegan was one of those people that never wanted to upset people, so sometimes he just didn’t really do the things that he wanted to do in his fears of just upsetting people. He would just hate to upset people, and when it came to Alison she was one of those people he would hate to upset the most since she always acted so childish. He seemed to think she was a little kid sometimes even, be he was so use to it by now he just seemed to really get confused. “I think she would be up to it if it means being able to sing with me, I mean she loves to sing with me” he smiled when he said it knowing that it was true.

He looked at her giraffe George with a small smile, he knew it was obviously just a simple stuffed toy but to Alison it seemed to be a lot more to that and it was all that mattered. At home Keegan his self had a stuffed animal, but he obviously wasn’t one for bringing it everywhere with him even though he had used to when he was a kid. “Singing is the best when you are singing with someone else, because when you are singing with someone else you have the chance to really work with another voice and it sometimes just really helps with your music when you have that other person” he shrugged. He was always one of those people that worked better with others, and he even hated working alone.</sup>

[/color] Well, of course Alison would think that, because Anya was her best friend, but Alison had to compliment everyone, even to people who were mean to her, whether they mean it or not. And Alison was okay with that, because she knew Keegan and Anya were much than she and Anya could ever be, even if the two girls were best friends.

The girl watched as Keegan glanced at George for several minutes. She knew most people wouldn't be caught dead carrying around an stuffed animal, but in a way, just like Anya and Keegan, George was one of her best friends, and even though he was quiet (Alison believed this is why he didn't talk much), Alison loved him very much, and would be heart-broken if anything happened to him. Once, at day-care, some mean kid took George out of spite, and Alison tried to get him back, but the kid wouldn't, and Alison started to cry, but another girl stepped in, and threaten to give George back, or there would be consequences to deal with. Alison nodded, agreeing with Keegan. "It's not all that fun if you're singing by yourself, so that's why I have you and Anya sing too: more the merrier, as my mom says something."[/color] she said, smiling again.
