announcement 006, okay so this is urgent. secret little talks had been upgraded to version 5 suddenly. we didn't upgrade it, that's for sure. but suddenly, it went from v4 to v5. everything is currently a mess in the boards and we're so sorry about it. we thought proboards will switch to v5 fully at the end of the year but it seems that proboards changed slt to v5 quite early. we're truly very sorry. threads can still be done but for now, icc and cbox has been created so you guys can still interact with one another. all the in progress of the site is temporary. we'll get everything back and fix things. as for template problems, there some quite few v5 templates already made around caution so you guys can check that out if your templates don't work. if there's any other problem, feel free to post down here cause we probably might not see it in the cbox and we'll get back at you. help and suggestions are welcome! we hope you guys stay with us, we'll try everything we promise! do you guys like the new v5? are you willing to stay with us? will you be staying? should we move forums?

Yea all board will update to V5 By dec 31st. It is mandatory unless you pay to stay v.4 but there will be no support for it after the first of the year. Umm if you guys want to think about it, Jcink is alot like proboards only i think it is better. I have my own personal site on it and i am glad i moved, It is alot nicer and things work smoother. jcink.com/that is the site if you wanna take a look at what they have to offer. It is just a suggestion and a good thing is that jcink wont update to something like PB did ^.^ |

If I get used to it, I'll stay. =3 But, I gotta admit, Jnick is really awesome too: I like where if you have a lot of accounts, you can easily switch accounts by using a sub-fourm option. =3 But, like I said, I'll stay if I get used to it because I know it'll take a lot of work to move things, and such if people want to move to a different forum site thing.

Gah I hate it, I hate change/ I've never been on a jnick site before but I've been on a freeforums site and didn't even realize it wasn't proboards until I looked at the URL. But yeah, I'd rather not have to learn new coding again (cause I'm lazy), proboards enhanced took long enough and that wasn't even necessary. But if push comes to shove i'll buck up and learn how to work with it or I'll move where ever you guys move, either way I'm gonna stick around I love this site and you guys too much to just ditch because Proboards are a freaking nightmare. <3

I'll be with SLT regardless if we stay with v5 or go to a Jcink. I've seen Jcink and it's pretty neat, though the pain of transferring between hosts is nearly as pain in the butt as updating coding for v5 so it's really a double-edged sword. I've been on and admin boards that have undergone this change and, once you do the changeover, it's not bad to operate but getting used to it for the coders of skins and new coding for posts can be a pain but PB also is there for assistance should they be needed. Besides, change is good, right?  |

first off, i love all you guys and SLT. if we were to relocate to JCINK.. is the coding similar to PB's v4 coding style? if so, i can handle that. i wouldn't mind moving to another site myself because a lot of the threads here use PB enhanced and our applications look ugly now... so either the admins would have to fix them one by one or we'd have all the members repost their apps. ugh, this is all so confusing, i'm all up for a new site because it would give us a fresh start...
if we were on a new site, we'd all repost the characters we'd want and basically be closed off to the public until we have finished creating all the faces we need.
as admins we don't want to lose you guys as members because SLT cannot die, we have so many amazing plots! <3 whatever you guys want to do is what we will do <3 pbs is just throwing a curve ball at us.

I'm definitely staying with SLT whatever we decide to do! I just hope that we don't have to do too much when it comes to switching err'thang over, if we decide to switch sites. Do whatever is easiest for you admins, though! I am okay with whatever it is you guys decide to do.
