"And that is all," Dan said, setting down the last of the crates. He turned around to look for his flatmate and best friend - Phil. "Looks like we can only start making videos after we unpack some of the stuff here,"
"What in the world did you bring with you anyway?" Dan asked, examining all the boxes that were lying around in disarray. There were more boxes labelled 'Phil' than 'Dan'. Dan rolled his eyes at his friend, and moved over to his area in the empty apartment.
"Well, we have to sort this out soon, or we will never get anywhere," Dan sat down in front of one of the crates, and started to unpack his things - which includes his X-Box, a lamp, several of his favourite coffee mugs, a bundle of games, and other electronic stuff.

"why do pancakes have to be so flat?"
Phil was pretty excited to move into the new apartment that Dan has bought for the both of them. Phil wanted to return him the money as soon as he can too. Dan did not seem very joyful - and Phil knew it was because of the stress that arose from the moving process. As soon as they settled down here, they would have no problem at all. At least that was what Phil wants to believe.
Phil watched as Dan carried the boxes into the house and set them on the floor. The apartment was already partially furnished, and it was bright and wonderful. Phil loved it. "Yeah, I think it is good to sort things out before we jump back to life, Dan," Phil agreed with his best friend. Phil watched as Dan sat down and began to unpack his stuff. His usual gaming stuff. Phil brought his over too.
The reason why he had more boxes was because he had a lot of stuffed toys. It was harder to compress, and they are quite large in size. It was hard for him to squeeze a few into a tiny cardboard box.
Phil hurried over to sit beside Dan, and began to unpack his own boxes, too. "I didn't bring much, just some of the important stuff, and the rest I already donated them to homes," Phil said, all-smiles as he pulled out his most-loved stuffed animals - including a couple of different-sized lions.
Phil giggled as he looked over at Dan, showing him a small lion plushie. "Did you bring most of your stuff over too?" Phil asked, glancing over at Dan's boxes.

"I didn't bring much, just some of the important stuff, and the rest I already donated them to homes,"
"Well, that's really kind of you, Phil," Dan said, smiling. He watched as Phil pulled out many stuffed animals. Dan's smile evaporated immediately, staring as Phil as Phil showed him his small lion plushie.
"Did you bring most of your stuff over too?"
"Seriously...?" Dan asked, a deadpan expression on his face. He stood up, looking at all of Phil's boxes, and opened a few of them. They were mostly stuffed with stuffed toys that belonged to Phil. "Phil...! What is this?!" Dan said in a high-pitched voice. He gestured to the piles of cuddly goodness and put his hand to his forehead in disbelief. "We had to load all this on a bigger truck because of you," Dan said, staring down at his best friend.
"Some of them have to go... I mean, look at this!" Dan said incredously, picking up a really old teddy bear that was practically falling apart. "Why didn't you donate this, or even throw it? It's like a mess!" Dan said, putting the teddy bear back into the box. Dan then sighed, sitting down beside Phil again.

"why do pancakes have to be so flat?"
That's right. Phil was a lower, and Dan's an elite. What was he thinking?
"Phil...! What is this?!"
Phil gulped and watched as Dan started berating him about all his stuffed animals. It was not Phil's fault... He really wanted to bring everything over - all of them had a special place in his heart. Phil blinked, his blue eyes wide as he remained silent, waiting for Dan to finish his rant about one of Phil's shenanigans once more. After Dan placed that teddy bear that Phil used to love to drown in the washing machine, the taller but younger boy sat down beside Phil. Phil did not know what to say.
"I...I'm sorry, I thought I really needed to keep these," Phil brought the lion plushie close to his chest. Maybe he was wrong to bring all his toys over from London. "I'll work to pay you back the cost of upgrading that lorry," Phil offered, giving his lopsided smile to Dan.

I'll work to pay you back the cost of upgrading that lorry,"
Oops. Maybe it was just the way he said it - Dan actually felt quite guilty about berating Phil on his obssession with all his old toys. "I didn't mean it that way, Phil," Dan said, looking over at his best friend. He just made Phil upset, and now he regretted appearing so upset over Phil's toys. "I am just saying, maybe we should learn to let go... I had to throw my old PS2 out to make way for my PS3. Out with the old, and in with the new, right?" Dan said, smiling brightly and looking at Phil hopefully.
Dan sometimes wondered what Phil thought of him. Would Phil get fed up with Dan's strange behaviour and attitude one day? Dan could not imagine life without Phil. Even though Phil was from a poorer background, Phil always appears to be like one of the elites of the society. Yet below all that, Phil was kind and thoughtful and innocent. Dan liked Phil that way, and he wished that his own personality could match up to Phil's.
Or not constantly making Phil sad, or upset. Oh... I am such a horrible person. Dan sighed, and reached out, taking Phil's lion toy gently, and smiling down at it. "But never throw the lions out," Dan said, grinning as he brought up the plushie next to his cheek.
