it had been a very long day for teagan. after failing a math test, which she did study very hard for, she felt very defeated. the long hours of studying aand and tutoring were obviously not helping, and she didn't know what to do. sighing to herself, she opened the door to her new house, setting her keys on the table. she stood there and rubbed her temples for a moment before biting her tongue. there was no way she could tell her mom about this. at all. she opened her school bag and took out the test, with a big F on the cover page. she then walked over to the garbage and stuffed it far in the garbage, making sure to cover the test with other garbage, so that it could not be seen. then being grossed out, she washed her hands as quickly as she could. her mom finding the test that she had just hid would not be good for her, at all. and she did not want to spend her whole friday night getting yelled at by her mom for her terrible math grades, especially when she tried to hardest to do well.
teagan took another breath before grabbing her bag, heading up to her room. she hoped that no one would find out about the thing she was hiding. it wasn't even that bad, but teagan who never did anything wrong, felt terrible about it. running her hands through her blonde hair, she closed the door to her room and sat down on her bed. she took out her wicked soundtrack that she kept next to her bed and plopped it into her laptop. there wasn't a day that went by that she did not listen to songs out of a musical. musicals were practically her life, and she wished that she was talented enough to be apart of one. though she didn't really know if she was talented or not, because no one had really ever heard or sing, and she had never tried out for a part in anything. she was much too scared. but she had no problem singing along to some of her favorite musicals when no one was home. she looked at her laptop, before clicking on defying gravity. and as the music began playing, she began singing at the top of her lungs.

Do you know those people who are just arrogant, and stuck up thinking they owned the place? Well, Dixon was one of those people, he was handsome, rich, and his dad basically tended to his every need. He was a nineteen year old college student, who also had a pretty good career in acting and it was clear that the fame had gotten to his head a long time ago. He was basically that kind of person who looked down on other people, anyone who was in a lower seemed almost unworthy of his presence and he hated having to talk to most people in general. In a way he actually hated people, people just seemed to really get on his nerves. To Dixon people were really stupid in the thins that they did, they always worried about silly stupid things Dixon his self would never worry about, they were worried about things like love. Love was one emotion Dixon almost refused to feel, he just thought love was stupid and when his mother had died and his dad decided to start dating he was actually pretty pissed off. He thought the guy was just far too old to date again, and he actually happened to like his mom so when he announced he was getting remarried to the women he had been dating he was pissed.
He refused to have any part in the wedding, and wasn’t even there to see his father get married to a women he believed was just using them for money and he really didn’t like that daughter of hers all that much either. He just really hated having to actually share his home with people, and he would stay in his room for as long as he could just to avoid them all. That was what he was doing now, since he had gotten out of class early and had nothing to do for a few hours. He was just going to sit here in his room and not really do anything, it was basically just what he always did when he had nothing else to do and that was just when he heard the singing and knew someone else was home. He sighed listening for a moment to just who was singing, she actually wasn’t that bad before he walked out of his room following the music to his new step sister’s room. He had to at least tell her to keep it down right, and crossing his arms he stood there. “Could you keep it down, you are being really loud” he muttered.

teagan was one of those girls who was nice to everyone. she always had a smile on her small face, even when she was in a bad mood. she didn't like anyone to see her downfalls. and she was the type of girl who would do anything for anyone. even if she didn't have much, she would give and share what she did have. it was something that her mom had taught her to do, and she kept with it. of course there were some things she did not like about herself. of course, she talked a lot. and once she started to talk, she could never stop. teagan seemed to be the type to ramble on about complete nonsense. a lot of things that came out of her mouth did not make any sense at all. a lot of people got annoyed with her easily, but she couldn't help that. it was the way she was. even though she was a bit on the annoying side at times, she did have a few friends who she could always go to, who she didn't tend to annoy every waking second of the day.
when her mom had gotten married, she was extremely happy for her. ever since her father had died when she was six years old, teagan's mom had sulked around for a really long time. and it wasn't until teagan urged her to go on a date, that she actually got out. it took a lot of urging on teagan's part, but she wanted her mom happy again. teagan knew her mom was going to be happy with the guy she went on the date with when she returned home and she was all smiles and was really happy. it wasn't long until they were married. teagan's mom was very happy, and teagan was ecstatic that her mom met someone who could make her feel that way. however, her step brother seemed to think differently. he was so bitter about everything going on, and it confused teagan. the most confusing thing to teagan was that she was falling in love with her step brother, who was nothing but mean and irritating to her. it just did not make any sense. when her door opened a little and she heard a voice talk, she jumped really high and immediately stopped singing. "i uh yeah sorry," she said, turning off the music and looking down, turning bright red.

Dixon use to be a lot different than he was now, before getting into drugs and other things he probably shouldn't have but still did when he really just seemed to change and not for the better. He use to be a lot nicer to people, but after his mother had passed away things changed since he was so close to his mom and he never did get use to her actually being gone and that was the biggest reason why he was so angry when his dad had started dating again and he had to question it. He knew that he was probably being really rude with the things he would say but he was just being really bitter about all of this, and so he was going to say a lot of things that he knew that he just shouldn't say. He was being really rude lately too, at least a lot more than useral telling his dad all these awful things and a part of the reason for that was the effects on the pills and other stuff he put into his system just so he didn't have to go and feel anything.
Yes he knew that drugs where bad back in high school, but anything was so much better than actually having to deal with emotions. It was easy to tell that he took his mother's death the hardest, for a longest time he had just been quiet and refused to talk about it and then he had just changed and rebelled and did so many things that he shouldn't do to try and get back at his dad. His addiction to pain killers and other various drugs came about when a friend introduced them to him and that just seemed to stick and here he was today addicted. When his dad got remarried he was pissed, there was just no way he could be happy for something he just didn't approve of and it also didn't help that he just missed his mom so much still. Years later and it seemed seemed to really hurt and sighing he just stared at Teagan, "thank you for turning your music down. Now perhaps the people in China can actually think" sure he was being a little rude but he was always this way and people were just use to it by now.
