dustin fischer . twenty-six . pb, joshua bowman
this is dustin, the husband of my drea. here’s the history of the two of them:
Drea graduated high school with honors and was accepted into Julliard’s dance program, something that was well publicized in her small town. While she was there, she studied and danced her butt off, not intending to focus on anything else. Until the night she was persuaded into going to a club with some friends, and ran into a bunch of NYU students. That’s the night she met Dustin Fischer. First of all, he had a D name, which her parents had always joked was a must for the children’s future spouses. But aside from that, he was handsome, charming, and had the sweetest little southern accent she had ever heard. They drank, they danced, and at the end of the night, they exchanged numbers.
Five months after graduation, Drea and Dustin got married in his hometown of Marietta, Georgia. The ceremony was beautiful and the honeymoon in Tahiti was even better. It could only last for a few days though, because Drea had to get back to New York. By this point, she was a principle dancer for the New York City Ballet. The newlyweds lived in a loft in New York. Drea danced, and Dustin worked, and the two were just having the time of their young lives. Two years into marriage, at the age of twenty-three, Drea got pregnant. While this may have been a dream come true for most couples, and it certainly was for Dustin, Drea wasn’t so sure. Having a baby would mess up her career completely, and she’d never really seen herself having kids until a bit later in life. But the opportunity was now, and she was raised to be against abortion.
But, the baby never became an issue; three months into her pregnancy, Drea lost the baby. This is when the fighting began. Dustin blamed Drea, saying that she hadn’t been resting enough since at three months, she hadn’t taken off from the company yet. The two fought constantly, and one night, Dustin slapped her. Drea had looked up at her husband, a welt rising on her face, tears in her eyes. The look on his face? Pure shock and distress. He apologized profusely, slept on the couch that night, and made her breakfast in the morning. Drea had been able to cover up the mark with makeup so she wasn’t questioned at work the next day, and the two put the incident behind them. But it wasn’t a onetime thing – the hitting became more frequent. And it wasn’t just the physical abuse; Dustin began to grow emotionally abusive as well.
He got offered a big job with a company in LA, and Drea told him she refused to move. She wouldn’t leave her spot in the New York City Ballet, and to be quite honest, she wanted out of the marriage. But boy did she regret telling her husband that. That night, she landed in the emergency room with three broken ribs and a broken nose with the excuse of a car accident. And three days later, the loft was packed up and the Fischer’s were moving to California.
WHERE THIS PLOT IS GOING, tarnie is making levi rivera, and this is drea's final. the two of them will eventually have an affair and she will leave dustin for him eventually. but until then it will be a drama filled ride.
sorry, I know it’s rather long, but it’s important! so, like I said, dustin’s job is open, and… well, if you’re absolutely against his PB I’ll be willing to bend on that, but I love love love Joshua bowmen for him. thanks!!!
