--- History of your character Almost twenty three years ago. He isn't the oldest male in his generation but he was one of the lucky ones. He was born to the the brother of the man who currently holds the title of Prince. If that royalty wasn't enough, Malachi's mother is a member of a noble family from England. He was destined to be great, it was in the stars, except from a young age, Malachi didn't care about that stuff. Even if he was one of the boys in line for the title of Prince.
Malachi grew up in a large fancy house in Dublin. His father spent his life studying and learning to become what he is today a top notch professor at some high rank university. His mother never worked a day in her life and raises her family with the riches left behind from her grandmother. It gave them a pretty laid back life. Malachi recieved everything he ever wished for.
He went to private schools and got kicked out of many just for arguing with the Head Ministers about the way things are ran
He went through school showing he had his father's brains but not his ambitions in the education system. Malachi honestly wanted to write music and play it. He wanted to be in a band. He wanted to be famous because he was Malachi, a talented man. Not some kid who's next in line for a royal spot.
After school, he was about seventeen, Malachi tried for a mundane life. He took a job and put money away. His goal was to leave Dublin and enter California and it's city of angels. But he needed to know he could handle himself. It took him a year to realize he needed more money and began to understand his mother's ideals. When he came into his portion of the money she began slipping some away into another account as well as the allowances his mother handed to him every month he was in school.
At twenty he graduated with a BA in music. He had more knowledge and a higher background for the art. He also had enough money hidden away to make it in L.A. Problem was, his father forbid his adventure. He told him it was a silly dream and he needed to stay in Dublin and make the family proud, mainly because in no more than in a few years, he could be called to be a Prince and they did not wanted a homeless musician to be called such a title.
They froze his accounts thinking it would make him stay. Instead Malachi took some of his savings and paid some people to help him fake his death. Hardly a big thing. They took his car and had it smash into a brick wall in the outskirts. They torched it until hardly anything inside could give evidence that Malachi was alive. His had to hide awhile before he paid for a fake passport and could purchase a plain ticket.
Eight months later, Malachi is in L.A. He goes by Malachi Conor, but just to be safe he introduces himself as Kai. It's been a year since then and he is still struggling as a musician. He found himself a band where he is lead guitarist and vocals, but he had to find another job. Kai wasn't one to dip too much into his savings. So he works at the local music shop. It's a hard life, going from riches to dirt, but Malachi is determined to show his father up. So he's still hanging around L.A. doing gigs in the night and teaching music and sell it in the mornings.
OUT OF CHARACTER!

Molly needed some “me time.” Things weren’t going the way Molly planned on them going. Her father has lately been pushing her to fill out intern applications for a spot in the Ministry. Her grades are perfect like always and all the classes she needed to become an auror were done or were in process. Everything was ready for her. She just needed that position, and she’d be set. Or so says daddy. Molly wasn’t one to go and do some desk job. She actually just signed a contract with a wizard record company last weekend in Hogsmead. Something about a girl group, but Molly didn’t care as long as she got to sing and perform. Just letting her father know was the hard part.
And if her dad wasn’t enough. There was Tristan. Stupid boy, that one;. Molly kept telling herself that. She hadn’t seen him in a while. She took his advice and decided to stay away. In class she’d sit on the other side of the room in the front, leaving him the option of back. And when class was out, Molly was either on the pitch, library or common room. Places, Tristan would most likely never be. Like now, Molly sat in the blechers looking over the stadium. She was high up and messing with a guitar she had owled from home. She was mindlessly strumming it while her thoughts chased Tristan in her head.
He should have lied to her. Been rude or something. It would have made things so much easier. But he didn’t. He confirmed his feelings for her and kissed her before shoving her away. Better to stay away? The girl sighed and looked down at the guitar. Yeah, better. She scoffed at the thought. She was having a horrible time. He’d come into her head at the worst moments and then stay there and distract her for hours. It wasn’t better. Not for her. She was becoming miserable. At least when they graduate, she won’t have to avoid him. He would be at the Ministry and she could be in France, or Spain, or Italy, or even America, performing. Life would be better. She would just have to get through this year… But could she really forget him?
Molly didn’t realized she had stopped playing. The blonde looked around the pitch. If music didn’t pan out for her, quidditch would be plan b. She wanted nothing to do with the Ministry, even if it was a job like becoming an auror. She wouldn’t be able to stand the politics of things, not to mention she already had a problem with authority. Her blue eyes looked back down at the guitar. She tapped a bit counting herself in before she began strumming again. Stop and Stare, a song performed by a band known as One Republc. It wasn’t long before the girl found herself singing along with the music.
This was definitely something Molly needed. She needed some time to herself and just to sing, just let it all out. The girl’s voice faded out but her fingers kept going. She slouched up against the row behind her and tapped her foot to the beats. The music left one song before interlocking with another. It wasn’t anything really specific this time. It was just her playing with some chords. The girl closed her eyes and let her fingers stop. Her head leaned back up against the row and she just sat there for a moment. When she opened blue eyes, her fingers when back to playing. This time she decided on a Taylor Swift song, Eyes Open. The girl straighten her back a little more and began the song, voice and guitar.
