Even though she had a job, Caitlyn thought a baby-sitting gig would be awesome. She had some experience because she would sometimes help her mom with summer school. And with her job as a waitress, she dealt with little kids that way too, and she always thought that was one of her favorite parts of being a waitress: interacting with the kids and adults alike.
When she heard that someone needed a baby-sitter for their little boy, it was just the kind of job that Caitlyn was looking for, and was actually excited to get an interview. Caitlyn has been excited for a lot of things, but this interview made her excited, and wasn't nervous at all. She knew she should be nervous because what if the kid didn't like her? What if she said the wrong thing? Or did something that the interviewer couldn't tolerate? It was things like that would make her nervous, but she wasn't.
Caitlyn bit her lower lip as the house came into view, and she walked up the steps. Taking a deep breath, she knocked on the door, and waited to be let in.

[style=width:300px; height: 228px; background: url(http://i1333.photobucket.com/albums/w626/ringer8/post6_zps23aea68d.png)] i just haven't met you yet. things were getting stressful. no, that was an understatement, things were hectic. only at certain times, but it was those certain times where he needed the most help. Julian could handle the busy work days and shifts and overtimes in the restaurant. it was those moments where Joel seemed to be obviously left out, not on purpose, if he were allowed to bring his son to work everyday he would, but that's just not possible. he was already lucky that phil would let the young five year old prance around the tattoo parlor when ever the brazilian had to work an hour or a few there. And he loved his daddy and Joel bonding time. he just needed help keeping an eye on the playful young sprout. “Dad, this isn’t fair,” the childish laughter protested. Julian hummed in his accent with a kiddish grin of his own, “oh, yes it is.” In his defense, the wrestling match was all joel’s fault. And while it fun to let the little guy win, Julian was only projecting himself from a latin blooded onslaught. Experience told him that getting on te fighting side of a brazilian was never as fun as it sounded. Heck, he was a bit rough himself when the occasion arose. By the time he had swept up the little boy in his arms and held him upside-down there was a knock against the door, echoing a thud through the walls of the house and halting the spar how it was. The man knew exactly who that was and for what reason they were here, he and the girl briefly talked over the phone. “Well, looks like I should go answer the door,” he said in a obvious way, so the little boy upside down in his arms would wiggle. As he walked toward the front door, his son gave a giggled protested again. With the most casual and pleased latin tongue he could use, Julian nudged the door open with his hip and greeted the person waiting outside, "Olá." there was a softer voiced echo from the boy who was still upside down, "Olá." which had more of an american sound to it. now coming to the door with a child upside-down in the parents arms is hardly the impress most people would want to risk. The brazilian however, wanted to show that he wasn't as overbearing or as strictly as those people. Returning Joel to his own two feet, julian covered his mirth by talking to the guest once more, "please, come inside, it's a pleasure to have you." A smile flashed on his face, slightly dimpling his cheeks and warming his personality more. tagheather/caitlyn wordsfour four one notesoutfittemplate by sophia. Graphic by me. [/style]

When the door opened, Caitlyn grinned at the sight. Well, it certainly wasn't the traditional way of opening the door (she had opened doors to far worse things). "Okay, thank you."
she replied, coming inside the house. She smiled at him, looking at him. "It's a pleasure to be here." she added. Whenever she went into a job interview, she decided to be polite through out the entire thing, and surprisingly, that's how she had gotten a job at the Brass Lantern, but it's not so hard to be polite: she felt a lot of people forgot what manners were. Julian was exactly how Caitlyn had pictured him on the phone, and now that she had seen him in person, she liked him even more (not like that), and even if the sight at the door was a surpise, she liked how he handled his son. She thought she would like this job better than the Brass Lantern, but if it was only when Julian needed her, then she could certainly do both. "Where do you want me to sit?" she asked Julian, and then she mentally slapped herself when she realized that she hadn't said her name: she was so excited that she had forgotten. "By the way, my name is Caitlyn." she added, covering up her mistake.
