She had been told by her agent to answer any questions about her relationship, that she couldn’t just dismiss it…since she didn’t actually have a movie coming out at this very minute, although one of her movies was due for release on DVD, she really hoped that would be a topic in conversation but she very much doubted it. Before they had gone on, Brooke had just told Riley to be cool, act like everything was great between them, because it was….well most of the time it was….some of the time…..there were moments when it definitely was not okay between them and she hated those moments. She looked around at the set before it was due for filming, she had been on this show a few times before, sometimes with co-stars and other times on her own, right now she was sitting here with her boyfriend, ready to tell the nation just how in love they were and act like they were still in their honeymoon period on camera. The thought made her feel ill, but she wanted to deny the rumours, her agent had never specified that she should be honest, that they should be honest, so it was okay…right? Brooke sighed as the show started and then looked to the camera and smiled, ready to be interviewed. Luckily a few questions were about their careers, she was so relieved about that, one hundred percent….so relieved. But then it came to the hard question, the one that they had both been dreading. “so, you have been together a while now, four years if I am correct…how do you make it though, how do you keep things interesting, any plans on marriage? Babies? the host asked. One of the things that a celebrity has to do was a TV apperence, and while Riley loved being on TV, today he wasn't looking forward to it. Sometimes TV hosts get too nosy, and while he understood it was their job, Riley always been a private person...until he got to be a big star. Now, it seemed like everyone was up in his business, and Riley never liked it in the first place. When his agent told him that he would be a press thing with Brooke, well, he was a little unsure. He had done press junkets all the time, but this one was going to be different, he could tell.

So, naturally, when the show was starting out good, the host had to ask about their private life, and Riley wanted to say some people liked their private lives..well..private. But, when you were a A-list celebrity like himself and Brooke, then you found no privacy. That's what everyone told him as he was making his way up: you'll be treated differently when you're a Somebody instead of a Nobody. When you were a Nobody, no one noticed you, and practically felt invisible. When you were a Somebody, you were on everyone's radar, and got no privacy.

When Brooke said his name, Riley cleared his throat, and looked at the host. "I agree with Brooke. I'm hoping marriage and having a baby will happen soon. Being married to my best friend has always been a dream of mine, so I hope it comes true."

[/color] he said with confidence. Asking about their relationship was always something he dreads, because he rather talk about his career instead of his relationship with Brooke. He wanted what he had with Brooke between him and her, not to be shared with the world.

Brooke tried not to look pissed off. The host was pushing it a bit. She had basically just asked the same question. instead she took a deep breath Marriage is something we have discussed, as for when that will be, I do not know….that is up to Riley she answered with a coy smile and then looked at her boyfriend. Brooke wanted their engagement to be a surprise for her, she didn’t want to choose the ring or know anything about it beforehand. It would be up to her boyfriend. as for children, I definitely want to be at least engaged before that happens, but I know that it doesn’t happen easily so we’ll just wait and see she tried not to let her voice tremble on the answer but failed slightly my brother has a little girl from a previous relationship. I have always had in my mind that when I have a baby I will be with that person for the rest of my life, and this is it…. she said confidently have you thought about what would happen if you cannot have children? Brooke was taken off guard, wasn’t that a very personal question? She tried to act cool with it but deep down it had upset her greatly. she did not want to answer that question, but how was she suppose to get out of it? she sighed loudly and then pulled a face. she knew it wasn’t helping anyone, not answering was just making things worse. When the host asked about wedding bells and tiny feet, Riley could tell that Brooke was upset. He knew Brooke valued her privacy as much as he did, and with everyone after them, it was hard to not have any privacy. Some questions they get asked were super personal, and it made him uncomfortable to answer them because, well, they were personal. But, Riley tried his best to answer, and hopefully they would be okay with the answer he supplied them with. It was better than saying "no comment" like some celebrities say when they get asked a super personal question. And sometimes that was okay, but he knew a lot of people would be annoyed if he said that.

Riley bit his lower lip when Brooke said his name, and indeed, he had heard the question. It was a touchy subject for them, and it almost broke them up because of mis-communcation when Riley told Brooke that if he couldn't make her dreams to come true, then she would have find a guy who could. He took a deep breath before he spoke. "If we can't have children, there is always adoption. It always worked out for Angelina and Brad, right?"

[/color] he asked, smiling a little bit. He knew Brooke will certainly kill him when the interview was over, but people know that if Riley was nervous, he would make a joke, and he knew it wasn't a good time to be making jokes, but he couldn't help it.

Brad and Angelina? Eugh she hated them. they were nothing like them. she tried to compose herself and act like it wasn’t bothering her "there are always options" she added when the host asked her for a response. She just really wished that this interview would be over already, she couldn’t stand it being questioned about her private life. who’s business was it anyway? so annoying…..really annoying. she just did not see the point in being there right now. she was just waiting for it to end so she could leave and not have to talk to these people, but leaving so quickly would just spark more rumours they were unhappy, she couldn’t win either way but she really wanted to just have a go at Riley for going into so much detail, into their private life. they should have been able to pass on that question, it was way too personal in her opinion. Finally the interview ended and Brooke dragged Riley to their dressing room. she made sure no one was listening and shut the door before she spoke. "why did you have to do that?" she asked "you should have said no comment, the host was just stiring up shit for us both, its not fair" she went on. it was true though, it wasn’t in their interest that they had done that show, but for the public. They should have said no to appearing on it but her agent thought it would be a good thing being seen together given that they had so many rumours about them being so unhappy together. "this is just….. she paused for a moment"

[/b]well it’s exactly what I didn’t want she frowned. the last answer, you could have said….NO COMMENT or something, what is it her business anyway, now there will be loads of stories about this in the press, saying we can’t have kids, so good job with that! she went on and then went to go and sulk on the couch. she knew she had repeated herself but she wanted it to get through to him that he did have the option to not reply.

Once the interview was over, he let Brooke drag him towards the dressing rooms, and braced himself for a tongue lashing: he certainly would get one after that joke he made about him and Brooke being like Angelina and Brad. "I know..I'm sorry. But, what if I did say no comment, and they kept pressing? It'd be better if I said something."

[/color] He knew he said a lot, and what he said did make Brooke angry, which he could understand: as stated, she valued her privacy more than he did, so why did they appear on this show if their agents knew they both did?

He sighed when Brooke went over to the couch, and he followed her lead, sitting down beside her. "When I get nervous, I make jokes. You know that, and I'm truly sorry: I knew I probably said too much, and I get it that you'll hold a grudge against me for saying a lot...I'll make it up to you: we can either go out, or stay in, order out or order in. Your choice, and I'll go along with it."[/color] Next time (if there was), when there was a question he (or Brooke) weren't comfortable with, he can say no comment.

He scooted closer to her, and gave a kiss on the cheek. "I don't like it when you're mad at me, but I probably deserve it after what I said."[/color] he added, pulling away.

They can only push so much she rolled her eyes. this was so exasperating. they can’t make us say anything about our private life she told him you need to be stronger and firmer she said to him. maybe it was because she was used to being a bitch, and Riley was actually a decent guy. she knew that he would pretty much do anything for her which she loved, but at the same time she wanted him to be more…..well a little meaner. She thought about it though….did she really want a man who wasn’t going to treat her right? Riley was somewhere in the middle, she just didn’t like when he agreed with her most of the time, she wanted him to protest with some things. we’ll go out she said with a smile. he did treat her well, she was so lucky to have him. most definitely. there was no way she would want anyone else, there was no one else for her. even if they couldn’t have children of their own she would be up for adoption. she knew it could take a while but it would be worth it. plus it worked for Monika and Chandler on Friends right? she smiled, at least that way she would be with Riley, the only guy she wanted to be with. she knew that if they did have children they would be beautiful, there would be no doubt about that, no one could deny that. This is true: he could be a little firmer, and some-what meaner, but what would the media have to say about that? They would have a field day if Riley did an about-face. Through his life, Riley has always been the nice guy, and has hardly raised his voice, only if to get his point across. It didn't help that people thought Brooke was controlling the relationship, which she wasn't, because it took two to run a relationship. "I could, but I don't think want people to think I was being mean to you."[/color] He hated to admit it, but most of the time, he would agree with Brooke with most things, and it seemed he never had an mind of his own.

He smiled back at her. "Okay. Whenever you want to go, we can. I know you probably know this, but I always want to treat you right, and would do anything for you, even if it was to be firmer."[/color] Him and Riker (his brother) were raised to be nice to girls and women, having an younger sister (Rochelle) and a mother to guide them. And sure, when their sister started to date, it was Riley and Riker (their dad wasn't really around when their parents had started to fall apart) to make sure her date passed the muster. Rochelle would be embarrassed, but at least they protected her from future slime-balls.

Riley frowned. "I know. But, what if you get mad at what I have to say? It's safer to agree with you sometimes."[/color] In the past, it seemed like either one of them didn't like whatever the other one had to say, so Riley felt it was safer to go along with what Brooke had to say, or just go to The Stallion, and hang out with Henry, his favorite bar-tender. But, sometimes, it was healthy to fight, because it made it seem like their relationship wasn't all that perfect like people make it out to be.

He never wanted to be one of those guys who were mean to their girlfriends. Once, he met a fan of his who confessed that her boyfriend beat her because she sometimes refused to do what he wanted. So, he vowed to never be like that to Brooke. "If it's banter you want, I can do that. But, actually be mean to you will be out of the question."[/color] he stated. He knew Brooke got annoyed with him because of his nice guy factor, but he rather be that than anything else. Riley smiled at her. "I know I can have opinion, but not a lot of people want to hear it."[/color] he added, looking at her. He knew Brooke wouldn't jump on him because his opinion was different than hers.

Riley kissed her back, and when he pulled back, he gave her another smile. "I know you do, and I appreicate the things you do for me."[/color] Just like girls would kill to be in Brooke's place, he knew guys would kill him to have Brooke, and while he did say that any guy would make her happy, he was glad it was him who could make her smile, laugh, and just be happy in general. He grinned. "How does Yo Sushi's sound?"[/color] Riley knew Brooke loved sushi, and he often brought her to the restaurant because he knew she would never love another sushi place like Yo Sushi's. Plus, he brought her there whenever she needed cheering up.

"You're scary when you get mad, but I still love you none-the-less."[/color] Riley stated, looking her.

And when Brooke told him that she and Lucas were just friends, he nodded, knowing that she wouldn't lie to him, and was telling the truth. "I know."[/color] he said looking at her.

Once they were out of the building, he looked at her again. "They are just trying to cause drama. I know you and him are just friends."[/color] But, what if they weren't? He shook his head. Brooke wouldn't be the kind of girl to go around hooking up with guys. He knew she would never lie, so what she said was really true, and he wouldn't think less of it. HELL NO!! Well good she replied. Okay so he had told her that he believed her but did he really? that was what she was worried about in all honesty because he could have just been saying it to make life easier. She left it at that though and said no more on the matter. she didn’t want to make a big deal about it because that would make her look guilty in her opinion. She had nothing to be guilty of so it was fine, he was just a friend, plus he was a little old for her in all honesty….yes Riley was older than her but only by a couple of years, and even Lucas wasn’t that much older than her but it wasn’t just that, he just wasn’t her type looks wise and Riley was. He said they were just trying to stir things up and she just nodded. he then asked if she was ready for sushi and she nodded, making their way to the sushi place, god she loved sushi. When they got in there she was looking at the menu and her phone went off. She looked and saw the text from Lucas. She bit her lip and looked at Riley. She knew it wasn’t the best choice to make but she had to go and talk to him so she got up. I’m so sorry I have to go, Lucas wants me to meet up with him and discuss the headlines she said kissing him and putting her sunglasses on.
