Caitlyn bit her lower lip. It was near lunch time, and Daisy was no-where to be found. And even though cell-phones weren't allowed during school hours, she still texted her, and left her a voice-mail. Maybe she was with Mr. Carter, and Caitlyn sighed. Well, as long as she was waiting, she could as well go get her books for the afternoon. Leaving her post by the lunch-room, she made a mad dash towards her locker, but stopped short when she realized a couple were making out in front of it, and Caitlyn's annoyace grew. She wasn't the one to break up a couple, but she was hungry, and when she was hungry, she got annoyed: and fast.

"Excuse me."

[/color] she said, tapping rhe guy on the shoulder. The couple broke apart, and they turned around when they saw Caitlyn standing behind them. The guy responded first by giving her a smile. "Oh, hey. Is this your locker?" he asked, and Caitlyn nodded. "Yeah, it is." The guy looked back at the girl, and the girl scoffed. "Sorry, we didn't know." Caitlyn gave him a small smile. "It's okay."[/color] she said, and the girl tugged on the boy's arm. "Come on, Austin. Let's some lunch." Austin gave her one, last smile before disappearing with his rude girlfriend. Once Caitlyn had gotten her books out, she made another dash towards the lunch-room, and her eyes widen when she realized that the line was getting longer. Where was Daisy, anyways?

Daisy wanted there to be more to their relationship, besides the simple student teacher one they already had, but things were so complicated. could they really go there? she didn’t know….was it worth him risking loosing his job? she knew that they had chemistry, that was all and she wanted him. she told him she had to go and quickly walked out of the drama workroom, making sure that she wasn't going to get caught. She didn't want anyone to suspect anything was going on, that would make it even harder for them to get together. she walked into the hall to put her books away in her locker and then she checked her phone and saw the text from Caitlyn. it was very rare for Daisy to have her phone on silent but at this point she had done because she didn't want any disturbance when talking to Mr. Carter, it was like he had her under a spell, but it was just her and the way she was transfixed by him. Daisy had tried to get him out of her mind and yet she found it way too difficult to do so, it just didn’t seem possible and she kind of wished she could do something about it to make her stop feeling the way she did. on her way to the lunch hall, Daisy texted Caitlyn to tell her she was on her way, and that she would obviously tell her where she had been but it was too long a story by text. Hey, sorry I took so long she apologised

[/b] I was just going over some things from drama class she said in a hushed voice. Everyone knew that Daisy was one of the best actresses in the school. she got the lead in pretty much every school play, always performed amazingly and didn't let anyone down, if people thought she needed help, they would be suspicious. she sighed at the long lunch queue but much to her classmates annoyance she had cut into where Cait was anyway which meant that she was near to the front. She tried to hide her disgust when she finally got her food plonked down on the plate. so gross, they should seriously do something about the food in this place, definitely a health and safety hazard

When Caitlyn's phone went off, she was relieved that it was a text from Daisy. She typed back that she was near the front, and when Daisy had caught up with her, smiled. "It's okay. I was just worried. Sorry if I disturbed you."

[/color] she replied. But, even if Daisy hadn't said his name, Caitlyn knew she must have lost track of time when she was with Mr. Carter, and while Caitlyn thought he was good-looking, she couldn't imagine liking a teacher in that way, like Daisy. Her mom should be glad that she liked boys her own age, but never-the-less, if Daisy liked Mr. Carter, then so be it. Caitlyn was just to keep Daisy's crush under-wraps.

But, while she was happy that Daisy found someone she could love, Caitlyn was a little worried. She knew Daisy and Mr. Carter could get into big trouble if this thing they had gets out of hand. Maybe she could go and talk to him, but she didn't want Daisy to think Caitlyn liked him too (just as a teacher), so maybe she shoudn't meddle unless it was important.

Caitlyn wrinkled her nose. "I agree: nothing is grosser than school food."[/color] If she had it her way, she would have a hamburger and fries, cooked by Joe, who cooked at the Brass Lantern. She always enjoyed his cooking, and it would be a total step-up from the school food.

I don’t know why I never do a packed lunch she said wait, what am I saying…. she paused I’d get the chef to make me sushi or something she grinned of course I would ask him to make some for you as well she smiled you would think a school in LA WOULD do sushi with the number of rich kids in the school it was surprising that the food wasn’t better quality. Oh well….she sighed guess she would have to deal with what they had. She looked at the food and put some on her fork, it looked like it was moving on her plate I honestly do not know if I can eat this she said its making me feel ill just looking at it she said. yes, Daisy was probably being dramatic, but she had a point, the food should be better since there were enough kids that could afford better food. why had she not gone to the local private school? Oh yeah….Caitlyn. she had said it was either this school or no school, she refused point blank to go to the local girls private school, A because Cait wasn’t going there and B because there were no boys. There was also a local private co ed school but that was not an option because Cait wasn’t going there either. any other parents would have sent their daughter there anyway but they knew how close the girls were. Caitlyn smiled. "Yeah, of course."

[/color] Without Daisy, her life would be downright miserable, and even if she did have Zayden and her mother to hang out, but it was no secret that she and Daisy were jointed at the hip. She shook her head at the mention of Zayden joining them. "He's not. He went out to lunch with some of his friends."[/color] she replied, giving Daisy another smile. She knew Daisy didn't get the idea why she liked Zayden so much, and while might be a little weird to like one of your guy friends, it wasn't for Caitlyn: she had liked him for a long time.

"If the chef can make a cheeseburger and some fries, then I'd love the school's cooking."[/color] Caitlyn told her, poking at her own meal, and Caitlyn's smotach growled. Usually the school's food was good, but this didn't look pleasing, not one bit. "I agree. This food is so disgusting."[/color] If she didn't eat, then she got crabby, and no one wants to see Caitlyn get crabby.

Caitlyn nodded as she pushed her plate away, not so hungry anymore. Maybe she could ask Zayden bring something to her, or she could wait until school got out. "I don't think I'm not that hungry anymore."[/color] she replied. The private school might have better food, but she knew her mom couldn't afford it, so Caitlyn could only get in on a scholarship, but she couldn't go to a school without Daisy, and she doubt there would be boys like Zayden, who was probably the sweetest guy on earth.

It was probably true to some extent though, she was the kind of person that brought life to the party, people always liked that she would be going to their parties because she was popular and a cheerleader. Daisy didn’t set herself out to be popular though, no way. when Cait said that Zayden was out with his friends she nodded "oh right" she said "good, just us girls then" she liked Zayden, and he had become her friend as well but she did like it when it was just the two of them because then they could talk about practically anything. "I know right? or like…..sushi…I still think that they should do sushi here" she nodded. she was going to stick to that suggestion. Maybe as student body president she could suggest it to the principal. It was worth a try, she was willing to give anything a go if it meant better food. "I’m so bringing food from home tomorrow" she nodded, pushing her tray away and taking the drink off it as well as the cookie and bit into it. Even the cookie tastes stale! she sighed. "wanna go out for lunch?" she asked her "my treat." Daisy knew that she was probably being a little bit fussy. The food wasn’t as bad as she was making it out to be….probably. though saying that it was pretty poor and most students did avoid cafeteria food now because it had gone downhill dramatically. She sighed, she was now craving sushi, or just nice food "please, come on if we go now we can make it back in time for our next class, we could even ring ahead to order and get take out then eat on the beach front or something like that?" she suggested with a nod and pouted. Caitlyn laughed as she nodded. "I agree: you are the life of the party."

[/color] When Daisy walks into a room, the party gets going, and she lights it up with her personality, and that's one of the reasons why Caitlyn loved hanging out with her. It's always nice to hang out with a girl sometimes, and there was hardly any drama between her and Daisy, anyways. Caitlyn knew that Daisy always liked it when it was just her and Caitlyn, and Caitlyn was glad that Daisy and Zayden were at least friends. She split her time in half so she could spend equal time with the both of them.

Her smotach growled, and since she didn't feel like eating the school food, she nodded at Daisy's suggestion to go out. "Sure, I could use some better food."[/color] She always thought of brown-bagging her lunch sometimes, but she would always forget, and when it's on a day that she didn't particularly like the school food, then she was doomed until she got home from school.

Caitlyn bit her lower lip. She had gone out with Daisy one other time, but the weather was really bad, and they barely made it to their class on time. But, the weather was nice enough outside, and like she said, she could go for really nice food. "Okay, I'm in."[/color] she replied, getting up, and getting her stuff from the ground.

Caitlyn laughed again. Daisy may be a popular girl, but that didn't mean she acted bitchy towards others. In fact, Daisy was the last of the popular girls who tend to be nice towards others, even those below them. Whenever she told someone that she was friends with Daisy, their facial expressions were a raised eyebrow, and asked, 'why do you hang out with her? she's mean!'. But, Caitlyn never really gave it any thought, and while she had other friends besides Daisy, she would rather hang out with Daisy because Daisy was fun to hang out with, and Daisy was one of her friends from back home, so of course she would hang out with Daisy.

It amused her how much Daisy wanted go out to eat, and while some people do that, she would much rather stay in and eat, because she knew if she went out to eat all the time, she would blow all of her money, because unlike most kids, she had to pay her way to get some stuff, and afford college, because she knew it would be a lot for her, considering she wanted to be a vet to help sick animals. Caitlyn knew Daisy would help her with money, and would offer to pay for her food, but sometimes Caitlyn got embarrassed when Daisy did that, because people would assume she was poor, or didn't have enough money. She knew Daisy meant well, and liked that her best friend was willingly to help out, but sometimes she wished she didn't, but she never told Daisy that. If she did, Daisy would just dismiss it, and insist it was okay.

When Daisy told her that she was going to sleep with Mr. Carter, Caitlyn bit her lower lip. "Are you sure?"

[/color] She and Daisy had this conversation over and over before, and while she knew Daisy loved Mr. Carter, sleeping with him would cause a lot of pain: and not the good kind.
