He was so very sure Sadie had found out, terrified Serena hadn't been able to keep their secret and spilled the beans. This was it, they were going to be finished, it was going to be the end of a life time of friendship and nearly 3 years of love down the drain because of one stupid moment. "why are you such an utter moron, Aaron" were words that had wrapped around and around in his head ever since and there was no doubt the guilt on his mind was driving a wedge between him and both of the Parker sisters. He had been trying so hard to act like everything was fine but that just made him feel ever worse about himself, like and even bigger jerk than he already did so for his consciences sake he had been quite distant from his doting girlfriend. Not that that helped, it always sucked to be away from her, so him making the decision to put space between them was impossible, not as impossible as it was going to be when she broke up with him, he didn't know how to be without her in his life, she had been there ever since he was born in one way or another, her cutting him out completely wasn't something he was sure he could ever quite adjust to.
After debating jumping on a bus and running away from his issues and dismissing the crazy idea, he made the short walk from his parents house to hers. He had to face this, he had to try and explain himself, try and salvage something from this, even if it was going to kill them both. After a long while of hesitation, his hand held ready to knock on her front door for more than a minute, he wracked his clenched fist on the wooden front door 3 times and waited nervously to be let in, trying to prepare himself for the hate he was sure was going to be coming his way once he was welcomed into the house. He just prayed no one else would be home for this fight of all fights, he didn't want Serena to have to hear it, no doubt she felt beyond guilty as it was, and it wasn't even guilt that she deserved, it was his fault, or so he had convinced himself. He also didn't want Mrs. Parker around to hear the argument, their families had been friends for year, they were the reason him and the girls had grown up to be so close, so who knew what damage his mistake could do to the relationships between both of their families. This whole thing was a mess. "Why Aaron, why oh why oh why are you such an absolute, complete and utter ignoramus?" the little voice complained in his head.

[/div] Late at night chats were the best thing between a mother and her daughter. After all the fighting and spats between Sadie and Aaron they knew something would have to be done. They both felt Aaron was pulling away and they just couldn't deal with that. They knew they had to take drastic measures and Sadie knew she had to take a page out of her moms book. She had to make sure Aaron wasn't going anywhere and that's just what she was going to do.
Sadie paced back and forth in the living room. Mom and Serena had gone shopping; it was mom's idea to give Sadie the privacy to go through the plan as seriously as she could. Sadie had on just a cute purple dress and no shoes. 'Is this the right thing to even do? Sadie was starting to have that little argument in her head with herself. 'Do you want to lose the love of your life? No you don't you gotta do this Sadie. It's not like Aaron will ever find out the truth!' That was all she had to hear in her head to know this was what she had to do no matter what.
The three knocks on the door made Sadie jump. Her eyes flew to the door and she took a breath. 'This is it.' She thought and walked to the door. As the door opened it creaked and she was looking at her boyfriend. She didn't smile, she knew she had to look upset and to do that she couldn't smile. "Come on in Babe." She said softly and turned walking back into the living room. The door was wide open waiting for him to close it after he walked in. Sadie's mind and heart were both racing. She wasn't second guessing herself she knew what she had to tell him. Aaron and Sadie argued, they bickered constantly between themselves about the silliest stuff, who's turn it was to turn off the bedroom light at night, who's fault it was that their home cooked meals had burnt, even who loved the other more was something that they could go on and on arguing over for ages but they almost always ended the same way, one kissing the other to shut them up and then them both forgetting they were even fighting at all. When things got a little more heated than that, when someone stormed off or they just stopped talking for periods more than a few minutes it always took one of them to back down and apologise to the other, which was always hard for Aaron, being the stubborn minded, proud boy he was. These two kinds of arguments weren't all that rare but since the kiss with Serena, since the wedge had been pushed between them and everything had got tense, the arguments had been bigger and the silences between the making up much longer. Aaron knew this was all his fault, he was pulling away from Sadie, making excuses to not come over or hang out and it was ripping him apart to see how much it was hurting to watch him take more and more time away from her. He just had no idea what else to do with himself, he didn't know how to get rid of the guilt and make everything better and go back to the way it was. He couldn't have told her, he knew how much more that would break her heart and ruin her friendship with her little sister in the process but it wasn't within him to pretend that nothing had ever happened with the guilt just eating him up.
None of that mattered now though, not now he was sure she had found out. He had so royally screwed this all up and he hated himself for it. Every fiber in his body wanted him to just run, to not face what he had done and just lock himself away until everything had blown over, or to skip town, anything but see the pain he knew this news would be cause Sadie and then, after that, watch everything crumble. His friendship with both of them, their friendship, the whole dynamic of their friendship group at school, everything was going to be so messed up, and all because of him and his stupidity. He waited for the angry tone when Sadie opened the door but he was both confused and surprised by her low, solemn welcome. He paused again in the doorway for just a second trying to figure it out before he walked, trying to hide his bewildered look from his face, in through the front door, closing it gently behind him and following her into the living room. This was out of character for her, if she knew about him and Serena he was sure she would be fighting the urge to scream and shout at him, he has even prepared himself to be slapped. Something about all of this made him doubt what he was so sure of. He wasn't sure whether he should be relieved or worried, at least if it had been the Serena thing he had an idea of what to expect, now he was completely lost. What exactly did she want to talk to him about? Maybe he had just judged it wrong, maybe this was still about him and Serena, what else could it be?
It was great, like I said :3
