adam had been sitting at home all day, trying to get over a hangover from the night before. he had gotten so drunk he woke up on a park bench in the middle of town, around five o'clock this morning. all he remembered from last night was that he made out with tons of girls he never met before, most of which were in college, and that he was proud of himself. usually he was fooling around with girls his age, within a few years, but he was beyond amused that he could get the attention of some older girls. they were drunk, but he didn't think that mattered. now he was getting over his hangover, and he had just gotten out of the shower. it was a beautiful day outside, the perfect type of weather to go to the beach, and check out some girls. he ran up to his room and threw on his swim trunks, and then a white tee shirt to go with it. once he was there he would just take off his tee shirt anyways. he ruffled his hair a little bit, getting it to its usual messy style. he cared about how he looked almost as much as most girls cared about their appearance. after getting ready he grabbed a pair of flip flops, a towel and his wallet, and headed out the door. he had a few extra bucks and he would just grab snacks at the beach.

once he was at the beach he set his towel down, kicked his flip flops into the sand, and pulled his shirt off over his head. the suns rays felt amazing on his skin, and he was glad he made the decision to come here. he took a deep breath before looking around. there was a bit of people around, since it was such a nice day out. some little kids were building things in sand and chasing each other in the water, college kids were playing a game of volleyball, and there were tons of people tanning; the normal things that happened on a beach. now there were tons of girls he wanted to go and talk to, but he was going to give it a bit before he walked up to anyone. he sat down on his towel an looked around at anyone, thinking about his life. honestly he didn't know what he was to do with his life.

lately, sophia had been busy. she had high school, then she helps her older sister as a florist, she has a blog all about fashion (also draws some fashion designs herself) and... she's an aquarium volunteer. she rarely has time for herself. sure, she has some friends over and she loves her work but still. she would want a day-off. they weren't strict in the aquarium, the people there are really nice. and her sister wouldn't hate her either she can't bring herself to even think about it. she feels like her schedule was just blasting off even though it isn't. one of her friends knocked a sense to her and invited her to a beach outing. thankfully, both staff of the aquariums and her sister was alright with it. and that's why sophia is now sitting on the beach with a group of girls. they were all her classmates. lissy was spending her time with mattuis and her sister was in college already.

sophie sat in the middle of the lined blankets with her friends. they had umbrellas and everything else. sophie had worn her bikini but she kept her shorts on, much to her friends' dismay. sophie moved her blonde hair to the right side and looked at her friend. they were in the middle of teasing each other. "sophie's definitely going to marry a marine animal." one snorted. sophia rolled her eyes at the girl, "Oh shut up!" she said and threw one of her flip flops to the girl quite strong. unfortunately, the girl doged and... someone else was hit. a guy who had messy hair was slapped with the flip flop on his face. sophia widened her eyes, "shoot." she muttered against her breath, mentally cursing herself. her friends tried to bit their laugh and sophie glared at them. sophia stood up and went to the boy and bit her lip, "i'm really sorry, i didn't mean to hit you. it was supposed to be my friend." she apologized and got her flip flop. she looked at the boy... messy blonde hair and blue eyes. there was no mistake, it was adam. the new aquarium volunteer. "you again?!" she asked, rather loudly.

adam had a lot going on in his head. he really wanted to go to college; something not a lot of people knew about him. but the thing was, he wasn't sure if he could afford it. and with his grades in high school, there was no way he was going to get tons of scholarships. he wished that his family had more money that they could spend towards him going to college, but there was no way it was going to happen. half of the time his family was struggling to pay the rent and buy groceries, let alone spend tons of money on education. adam didn't really want to spend his whole life making minimum wage, he really wanted to make something out of himself. it was going to be a lot harder than he wanted. to get his life back into shape, the first thing he did was go to the aquarium and get a volunteering job. once he got that he was so happy, he loved being around the water and the marine animals.

he ran his fingers through his hair. adam just hoped that everything would turn out alright for him. trying to give himself a future going to be hard, but if he put his mind to it, and stopped being stupid, he was sure he could attain it. adam was right about to stand up and walk to the water before he was hit in the head with a flying object. it didn't hurt, but it took him by surprise. "what the hell," he muttered to himself before he looked over at the thing that had hit him. he looked around trying to find where the object had come from. but there were so many people at the beach that he couldn't be sure just where it came from. a familiar voice began talking to him, and he looked up at the girl who was apologizing to him. of course, it had to be sophia. the girl that drove him insane, but absolutely hated his guts. "you sure you really didn't mean to hit me?" he asked the blonde with a smirk. now he had no idea whether or not this was an accident. "and yes, it is me again. i happen to really like the water," he squinted his eyes at her.

sophia wasn't really the type of girl to start fights. she's the sweet girl who loves to have fun with her friends, the type of girl who cares about almost every people she knows... almost. though, nobody's perfect. even though sophia is sweet, that never meant that she's an angel who never did anything wrong with the world. despite all her sweetness, she has that feisty personality that isn't really hidden. sophia is approachable, sure. the aquarium where she volunteers and their 'flower shop' has visitors everyday. her patience is very long with everyone... everyone except those flirty pricks and whores. she would want them out of the world but then, they just kept breeding... but not literally of course. that's just an exaggeration of expression.

sophia bit her lip and moved away from the boy and scoffed. they had only ever spoke once before. and sophia already hated his personality. he was no different from the other players. he flirted with sophia just after they said their 'hello's. it might be not right to judge a person easily but sophia had known too much than to trust the boy. "you know, if i knew it was you, i would've hit you with a much, much more heavier object." she said. she didn't mean it literally. she could never physically harm anyone. or maybe she did punch/slap a guy before but it was only because the boy had gone too far. adam might be annoying but sophia wouldn't physically hurt him like that. yet. she took her flip flop and she heard her friends talking. she had a the urge to roll her eyes. they were all muttering about how hot adam was. "i noticed." she said with a raised eyebrow, "otherwise you wouldn't be volunterring in the aquarium."
